I'm a huge fan of the silenced MP5 as well, something about ambushing crackers and just letting fly with half a clip (because that's what they take to kill) with nothing but the slight hammer click sound.

There is a good FOV hack around apparently. It lets you use sliders to adjust the field of view (increasing it from its currently poor state).

It'd be good not having scenery pop in only 5 metres away, despite being on almost max settings.

Dont think thats ever happened to me on the PS3 version. Thats why i love it, stick it in, looks gd, play it. None of this tweaking and over clocking etc.

Yeah the 360 version has an excellent draw distance, no real pop in at all.

Im pissed off that I actually bothered finishing this game for ... THAT. What an utterly terrible end to the game.

I'm near the end of the game, having some dramas but now finished. The ending may be a bit of a letdown, but it's the journey that matters. Anyway, it's an excellent game.

How do you get to the LZ for diamonds/village to kill off the last bosses? I'm stuck in a chasm just after the swamp, can't find a way across?

But anyway, it's an excellent game.

theres a little path up to one side and then you have to climb over some rocks

and it's about to get sucky. Theres like 11 seconds of ending and then a 20 minute credits that you cant get out of without crashing.

For the first time I had my buddy come and rescue me. It really did look and feel awesome. He doesn't really follow me much though. Are there any squad commands that you can use? I just don't want the guy to be a sitting duck.

Nah once they rescue you you can pretty much forget about them. they'll just disappear or whatever soon.

funniest Buddy thing for me was on the 2nd map, killing a bunch of guys in a town after detonating the truck bomb. Finished them off, so I went for a wander around town, then had enough and jumped in a car to drive out of town. Ended up running over my buddy, who was in the middle of the road reloading for like 10 mins after the mission was completed, I forgot he was there. Dead buddy.

I just lost another one, shame about this guy he bailed me out 5 or 6 times before, I only realised he was dead long after i'd left, i thought we'd killed everyone... ah well, i've finally unlocked the Carl G rocket launcher and the USAS-12... so life goes on.

Depends on what your other choices are, but most likely... yes.

But dont buy it if you have little patience, it can be a very long an repetitive game, still awesome though!

Depends how many side missions you've done i'd say mate.

It comes in after you finish all the story missions up north. You'll know you're getting close when you can no longer do missions for one of the factions

Couple new weapons, vehicles, and multi maps.

Can't believe I haven't played a game that has a silenced shotgun yet.
