Thought I might start a thread for this. Maybe worth a sticky?

Are competing club tickets for AFL Member's on sale tomorrow or do all AFL Member's tickets go on sale Tuesday only?

Here we go;

WEEK1;

Week 1 – Elimination & Qualifying Finals (September 3, 4 & 5):
Match details for Week 1 (including participating teams, dates, times and venues) will be confirmed on Sunday 29 August at the completion of Round 22.
Click here for finals ticket prices for 2010 >>

Tickets on-sale:
Competing Club Members Monday 30 August
AFL Members (Etihad Stadium final) Monday 30 August
AFL Members (MCG final) Tuesday 31 August
General Public (Subiaco Oval or Sydney final) Tuesday 31 August
General Public (MCG or Etihad Stadium final) Wednesday 1 September

So basically, Club members go on sale Monday, AFL members go on sale on Tuesday, General Public on Wednesday, and it will be exactly the same for our next final, win or lose this week.

I'm guessing Ticketek are going to do their usual thing and release all the bad seats first? Or due to the game being less than a week away they'll release all the seats at once?

Mmm what is the deal with the tickets. Last year, for all 3 games I was in Bay 14. Is there a way you can select you seats, or is it just what Ticketek offer?

sorry bout that just called the club because I had an issue and they said both club and afl members will be able to get tickets on monday :mad:

So now I have a question I have an AFL membership and my dad has a club membership the club said we'd both be able to stick our barcodes in on monday and it'd be sweet but this is obviously not the case, will we be able to get seats together?

As I understand it, AFL members can access a clubs allocation (because an AFL member is also a club member) but you will pay for the full cost of a ticket.
Whereas if you get your AFL member allocation it only costs you the booking fee.

Still have to pay for your seat but its only $16!

I should probably know this, but what does it mean to be the 'season ticket match'?? Or is it series ticket match? I've heard that our final is this type of game, but not sure what t means...

Every year you can buy a "finals series ticket", which gets you into 1 designated match each week, and this week that game has been assigned to our game, probably due to the fact we may get a smaller crowd due to the Dogs having next to no supporters.

Not really something to concern yourself with, because if you only want to the Collingwood finals, the ticket, while being useful this week, may be not coincide with out game in week 2 or 3.

AFL member tickets go on sale Tuesday. If you are a Collingwood club support member through ur AFL membership you are eligible to get tickets tommorow morning but you will pay full price. Your better off waiting till Tuesday, save yourself at least $30.
