Fosdike for McVeigh

If McVeigh wants to come back to Sydney, would you guys take Fosdike as a trade ?

Not sure. It does seem like a fair enough trade, but I'm not sure we'd want Fosdike. We traded for Alvey last year, but he can't seem to get a regular senior spot - so I don't see why Fosdike would.

But if McVeigh was bending us over and you offered Fosdike, I'd take it.

Yeah, pretty even trade on paper, with some potential for win-win.
1) McVeigh might improve in Sydney playing with his brother.
2) Fosdike might improve his disposal under a super-coach like Sheedy.

Hell, people are even talking up Spriggs, even though the man was born to play for Hawthorn. Pretty boy - no disposal skills - no ticker.

Unfortunately the suggestion of Ryan O'Keeffe may have just become untenable in the last 6 weeks, even though he's an Essendon-area boy.

Slow players become quick...duds become guns...when we're talking trades at this time of year.

O'Keefe is a good sort. Mid size player who can play tall and small up forward. Would give our forward line another dimension, which it does need.

Not saying we'll get him or that we should actively pursue him, just that if it so happened he'd be a good addition to the side.
