Fox Footy renewals

When are those with Fox Footy supposed to renew the package, do they send out a notice or something???

i've heard that Fox Footy will be discontinued and a new sports channel, Fox Sports 3 will begin in March.

Delay is in relation to what will be offer when they go digital not that they are canning Fox Footy.

Even if they decide to drop it and go with Fox Sports 3 will be no difference, just won't see wall to wall AFL but other sports as well, probably an all football channel with Rugby League, Rugby Union.

I doubt it. Can you imagine the schedule clashes if all the codes were on the one channel!

What about the fox footy extra channel? Will we still end up with 2 footy stations during the season?

Fox footy will be around next year. They have a contract with the AFL until the broadcasting agreements come up again. Just on fox footy, i am sick of them playing the same **** over and over. Cant they play some games from 2002 or from ages ago . The fox footy achieve and classic quarters are all ones we have seen heaps. I mean i am paying $10 a month to see the same **** ova and ova.

I love watching those shows! Especially Living With Footballers and White Line Fever. Although I do agree about Grumpy Old Men.

Just to let you all know.

I work at Optus and we have just received mail (in the last month) announcing that the FoxFooty channel will become part of the basic pack ($39.95 p/m), which includes Fox Sports 1 & 2 and ESPN, as of the 1st Feb 04.

Possibly that's what Foxtel will do as well and maybe that's why no-one is being offered advance passes for next year.

It is definately not being shut down is what we have been told.
