As you may have noticed, BF admin is currently seeking your feedback on how the various boards are running, so this is your chance to let us know what you think about the Fremantle board and how we run it.

We want to know what you like, what you don't like, what you'd like to see more/less of and any suggestions for how you think the board could be enhanced.

Myself Seppo and Lach72 will not be participating in the thread (provided normal BF rules are followed) for 7 days, at which point the thread will be closed.

Local boards have been great, keep it up. Lately tho posters have been embarrassing especially outside our boards. What happened? Why are Freo fans so bitter and precious? Just finished reading the game day threads and our posters are a f@cking disgrace..all experienced too. Wish they'd p1ss off and stop giving us a bad name.

Great board. Only recommendation is that that thread creation operates more predictably and consistently.

For example - Game Day thread is locked once the game is finished, and Autopsy/Review thread comes straight after. Changes and Votes thread can be created whenever though.

Think we should also have a Preview thread beginning every Monday after the game - one for us only and another 'opposition welcome' page. This takes game speculation out of the Changes thread, and weeds out irritating opp supporters derailing threads before and after games.

I find our laziness when it comes to preview threads rather endearing, I think this gets suggested every year and we might stick with it for awhile but eventually we fall back into the old "all in one megathread" trap again.

I'm guilty of this sometimes as well - but I agree the victimhood mentality isn't a good look.

Probably better for us to bitch and whine about 2015 MRP/Umpiring wank on the local board.

If you want to know why a post is deleted, think of the post in reference to the site rules and you'll come up with your answer. If not, pm and ask us.

I know what you mean, but there is so much coming the other way. Other team supporters really have it in for us and in particular Ross Lyon at the moment.

Geelong supporters seem to have a massive obsession with us and Lyon, worse than a lot of the Eagles' peanuts.

Agree with this, but it's not just about thread creation; it will only work if posters actually bother to put their remarks in the appropriate place. Which will only happen if it's an enforceable expectation of the board, i.e. mods are willing to move or delete derailments.

Agreed - I also think people shy away from Preview threads because of the responsibility of creating enlightening speculation beforehand (which is great when it happens by the way). I don't think it needs to be a requirement though, all thoughts pre-game should focus in one thread, and let Changes, Training etc localised to their own.

Figured I may as well have a say.

For the most part the board is okay but I have found myself gravitating away in the past few months. There are just too many repeat threads and shit fighting between the same people in a lot of threads and it has gotten to the point where I have a few people on ignore and read hardly any threads. It sucks because you miss brilliant and insightful posts by the likes of sherrif and E Shed who I rate as 2 of the best football minds on the Freo board.

Also one thing that does shit me (I'm probably in the minority) is that opposition posters can't come over here after a game and say what they really feel without getting carded. As long as they aren't on a wind up or being a c*** then it should be fine. The constant "good game" or "congratulations you guys were the better team" etc. is annoying. Robust discussion should be allowed as long as it doesn't get out of hand. There are far too many precious posters on here.

Having said that the mods on here do a fantastic job and it's easily one of the most relaxed team boards in terms of moderating so kudos to Seppo, Lach, Stronzo and the new guy riteo (congrats btw mate).
