Quite simple really.

I decided to fire an arrow at a stack of building-high red boxes. This knocked them over and caused a domino effect with other similar stacks around the city. Eventually a stack collapsed into a ship that was in the middle of the city (you know, one of them "land ships"). Turns out the entire structural integrity of the state was predicated on that never happening. It started shaking a caused a huge earthquake that flattened everything.

I'm wondering if I'd feel anything at all if California got destroyed. I suppose they'd have to relocate shooting for "Californication"... assuming the cast survived of course. That'd be a bummer, but might mean a reinvigorated storyline.
Other than though, and apart from Californians, who loses?

I disagree "a forward replaces a forward" but that logic supports my comments in that Fletcher (a KP defender) hasn't been replaced by a defender. I agree with your midfield opinion and stated in my original post we had two of our best ball winners out, but it's an obvious observation and don't think there's a poster on this board that disagrees so if you said it before ten times why post it again if it's nothing to do with my post?




My post was about their lack of KPP .Hooker and Hurley played last week and haven't replaced Fletcher with another tall defender option (I.e based on Mike91 logic -defender goes out, defender goes in) we could have gone in with Sheriden and played Clarke as the second forward option. For me Essendon will be concerned by our talls the same way will be concerned about their superior midfield.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot everything is about you. It's really commonsense that Tabs is in for Mayne, his role will be to take a defender away from Pav. If Mayne wasn't injured, Tabs wouldn't be playing.

You said Tabs and Mayne are like for like, they clearly aren't, we don't even have anybody else with Mayne's characteristics in the side. Tabs is not going to get within a long shot of replicating Mayne's pressure, but is significantly taller and should be more of a threat in the packs. Actually, Tabs will probably play Hannath's role up forward (which was basically to provide a good contest) with a bit of restructuring to accommodate Clarke. We are going in taller this week. I don't see why you needed to play the man there.

Like for like as in forwards, would of thought that was obvious. Forward goes out, forward comes in, that's usually how it works. So if Mayne was playing, do you honestly believe Tabs would be?

So if we swapped out say Pav for Walters that's like for like? Or Tabs for Walters? Say what you like, but its pretty uncool to be so sarcastic when you were wrong. We didn't just swap a player, we've gone for a taller forward line, changed the structure. Mayne plays a hybrid role, he just isn't a key position forward, he's a third tall. Tabs is an out and out key tall in the Nick Riewoldt style.
