but yeah, really gotta attack it. Venus did well when she chip and charged the 2nd this game. Schmieds now has the jitters(which is normal Schmieds). that one a while back didnt reach halfway.

Feel sorry for Venus here. She just can't hit a winner. The court is just too slow and Schmieds is just too fast. It is in her mind now. (as I say that, 2 break points. Oh please no Schmieds, not yet)

This main commentator can go and get stuffed though. Schmieds beat Venus here in 2013, Venus would not just thrash her if she was playing at her best here on clay.

For the first time since 2015, Schmieds is in the 2nd round of a grand slam. Now that the floodgates have been broken, I am expecting a deep run. Azarenka is next, Serena in the 4th round to complete the Williams double. Halep might be a bit tough in the semis though. right?

Yeah, I made the right choice. This is a terrible surface for Alex but the more concerning thing there is the 6-0 3rd set. That shouldn't be happening if he's a fighter.

And I don't rate Thompson but to only take 6 games off Albot is laughable.

Not a shock, both had awful draws. Watched a bit of ADM yesterday and it felt like the first set was crucial and it was.
