Seeing as Banfield and Hughes seem to be the current Freo whipping boys of the current crop of players, who were the whipping boys of yesteryears?

Looking back, was it warranted the amount of hate or crap they got?

Schammer copped it pretty bad here. Also Suban and even the great David Mundy had his detractors

One hill I used to die on was defending zac dawson. I thought he was a decent enough key defender, and a much more consistent defender then silvagni, despite being less aesthetically appealing.

I was wondering when this name would pop up lol

Yeh agree, he wasn't as bad as some made out. Think people thought he had favoritism from Ross with the Saints connection

for those who can't remember he was fine after his head first tackle and played out the game + the following week

TheInjuryFactory were you the one who turned this into gif form?

Clancee and then Danyle Pearce

This one takes me back.

Peter Mann
Chisholm
McManus
Dan Parker (and Shane to a lesser extent)
Gilmore
Josh Head for a short period

Most of it was warranted to be fair.

Who said Willsy? He was never a whipping boy.
I was just looking for a reaction :)
