I went to a Melb v Geel game in 93 where Yablett kicked 11 but the Dees won by 4 goals also here at the old Footy Park v Adelaide he kicked 10 to overtake Modra in the Coleman race but Crows won by like 20 points.

He kicked huge bags in losses.

14 v a winning essendon was my first introduction to the GFC lol

I remember being happy the Eagles kept him to like 4 and 5 the 2 times we played that year.

Our defence back then was brilliant.

I loved listening to rex's call (geelong game or no geelong game) on a lazy Saturday arvo. He was great.

Other things having just watched a highlights video from 1993:
-streamers still being chucked on the ground after a goal
- noobs behind the goal jumping the fence to signal a goal with the goal umpire
- goal umpires signaling a goal from wherever ie. The behinds area. Very strange to see that now
- old advertising. Lol Ansett, Telecom
- the old AFL logo
