Oscar is either going to produce something we didn't expect or it's going to cost us to a reasonably significant degree.

Maybe this is a bigger risk than Neale. With Stanley in it throws another element into the mix.
Option 3 is Oscar does nothing significant but makes no significant errors that cost us - he just plays his role.
Assuming it is his last game, I hope he gets a bit angry and physical. This was always when he was playing his best.

Oscar is our best option for this game if you want to take a bit of pressure off both young Gallop and Morris (tall wise)

Oscars TOG was just 64% for Pies and 69% for the Suns. Thats close to our lowest.
The club realize we don't want to be to slow in our forward line for long periods of the game
It is the best compromise we have for now.

Oscars last few years record v Cats is strange
2025: Has not played against them
2024: Subbed off in a loss R6 with just 30% TOG. PF Subbed off in a win with that popped out shoulder and only 44% TOG
2023: Just the one encounter. But it was a full game at least. R19 Win, 85% TOG. He had 33H/O & 11 disposals.
Stanley had 31 H/O and 9 disposals with Blicavs the 10 H/O.

Fort on the other hand has played 3 very good games v Cats this year.
Hopefully he has another good game against his old side

The Lions will win the Premiership with this team. The decision about the Sub will be interesting. It will be between Reville and Marshall, that much is clear. Both were sensational against Collingwood, but I think we should flip the script and name Marshall as Sub. Reville’s field kicking is sensational and he has the capacity to really open Geelong up. He’s also that little bit bigger and more able to bang and crash close in. The secret to beating Geelong might just be to break them early and I think Bruce has the capacity to contribute slightly more in that respect. Either way, they will both be worthy Premiership players.

Don't worry about Oscar,he will be fine,I have seen him play some great games, and they have been saving him for the finals.
For what I seen of Gallop last week,I am sure that the Cats will have a eye on him,he will be big plus for the Lions!

Everyone thought Lachie was done for the year, including most of the people around the club. Like he said, they only gave him a 1% chance to even make himself available. Let alone being picked. If we get up this saturday and Lachie ends up being one of the best players on the ground, it would probably be the greatest story ever from a player point of view.

The highlight of my day is going to be seeing Fagan give his medal to Bez.

Bez jumping out of his skin on the sideline when the final siren goes and we are 28 points up.
