If we do bring in Langdon, Tomlinson and Elliot with the draft picks we have then I cant see Nathan Jones playing round 1 if everyone is fit.

I think in a way Clarry was better than we thought he was. Victim of his previous high standards - but I saw a few games that I’m dead sure we wouldn’t have won without him, and a few more where we wouldn’t have gotten as close without him.I thought Gawn would have taken out the B&F. Perhaps the one missed game and injury affected game cost him.
Clarry had a pretty good year. Definitely not at last years standard but he was a bull all year in the middle. And coming off a double shoulder reco.
I think he did make an impact - albeit there wasn’t too much competition, so not looking like a fool was a level of positive.Interested to read May finished 13th in the B+F despite playing 7.5 games.
Seems like he probably made an impact in his few games.
How did you guys assess his season this year?
Disappointing overall, mainly through absence. That said, he has good pace for his size, a bit of campaigner about him, and is a beautiful kick. Has the attributes to be our best defender in a pretty handy back 6.Interested to read May finished 13th in the B+F despite playing 7.5 games.

I hear you on the front!I think he did make an impact - albeit there wasn’t too much competition, so not looking like a fool was a level of positive.
He will be very good for us, and has the abilities we need, but only if he can get on the park. We need our high paid players to play more games.
I assume the voting system was the same as 2018. To give an indication as to how terrible we were this year ,Jack Viney did finish 3rd but with only 323 votes. In 2018 Hibberd finished 14th with 317 votes. Shows how far everyone dropped last year
464 – Max Gawn, Clayton Oliver
323 – Jack Viney
319 – James Harmes
293 – Christian Petracca
230 – Bayley Fritsch
213 – Christian Salem
210 – Angus Brayshaw
204 – Sam Frost
199 – Jayden Hunt
Weird results. Would have thought Gawn, Salem and Petracca would have been top three this year.
Anyone know how the results are decided? Do the players get any say in it or is it just the coaches?
"Two-time Crows premiership player Simon Goodwin has also been floated as a contender, but Goodwin is tied to the Demons for the next three seasons and is committed to the club."
Got excited with the first half of this sentence.
Adelaide asked Ross Lyon about applying to be their next coach. He said no

I can’t find the complete totals for this year but it goes down to Sam Weideman in 22nd place with 65 .What was the vote spread? Far more injuries in 2019 means cores spread across more players I assume.

Maybe the voting was different. Even Max Gawn was 193 votes down on last year
Nah because our blokes would go to the PA an ask for them to be shared out equallyCan they choose not to give all 40 votes when the whole team was s**thouse?

Dont give a flying * what the stats say OMac is a crab. We all knew Frost wasnt a good defender 1on1 but he created something whether good or bad was a flip of a coin. The stats would also say Dangerfield is a way better kick than he is cause a kick over 40m to a contest is classed as an effective kick. We all know by watching him he just kicks it as far as he can without looking.
