And Curnow, who he models his game on.
Probably inevitable after last season, when we did 2 years' dealing in one year.
I still wouldn't do it as it doesn't get them Curtin or even Sanders i reckon.Hawks ITK's pushing that WC want Pick 3 Future 1st and an established Best 22 player like Ward, C. Macdonald, C. Mackenzie etc.
If West Coast netted that, they'd be right back on track with their rebuild. Hawks seem more keen than anyone on Harley, IMO. Will be interesting who actually ends up with him when all is said and done.

Maybe it’s that kind of year for talls but I wonder if basketball is draining potential talls?Jack was a slider but that draft was absolutely packed with talls. Quite incredible really. Jack went at pick 13 and there were 8 talls picked ahead of him. Then you have players like Tippett, Goldstein, Hawkins F/S, Westhoff and Schofield taken late.
Ultimately it was an error for clubs overlooking Riewoldt for being "undersized" but if you want a key forward this year you don't have a lot of option but to roll the dice with Caddy. Where have all the talls gone?! Are they just trying and failing to turn them into Patrick Cripps at underage level instead and they never filter through to AFL level at all now?

Contract extensions…..They're both already contracted, what exactly are signing?
Please have some rabbits in your hat Mackie.
Get the feeling we are going to the least active in this trade period outside a few pick swaps.
Our best move is just going to the draft and making the right pick.Hard to trade when there's not much good talent available in the first place.
What if the Dogs/Crows do not want to trade with us because the player they want is also not avail? Our best move is just going to the draft and making the right pick.
1. Taking Sanders
2. Taking O’Sullivan if Sanders is gone
3. If BOTH Sanders and O’Sullivan are gone trade back with Crows or Dogs to get multiple selections and go best players available.
Think you are over rating Curnows athletic ability massively - he ran 20m in 3.15 which is considered slow by position. Caddy tests better. Main difference is the hands over head and curnow is strongerIm just not sure caddy is quite as athletic as curnow and undersized kpfs by and large (though there are rare exceptions) from juniors tend to be busts unless they have the athletic ability to make up for the lack of height. Caddys decent time trial is a start but id want to see good vertical leap and agility results before i took a risk on him.

It'll be Caddy, Watson (prob not avail though) or Darcy Wilson as a bit of an earlier smokey than people think.
I'd hope instantlyThose that like OSullivan ... how quick do you feel he could become a best 22 player for us?

No way Port will bring in Sav , Zerk and Sweet with their picks without trading players. Hopefully this leads to a good opportunity for us....
Would they do a straight swap for Sav ?They are going to trade Duursma which will give them enough capital without involving first rounders to get the deals done
Would they do a straight swap for Sav ?
I'd hope instantly
Would we? If we had interest in Duursma it would be out there already I reckon.
Naturally, SOS as a recruiter/list manager is only capable of using very high draft picks, then when he moves clubs grabbing players he's used high draft picks on to come to his new clubDickhead Morris reporting that Paddy Dow has requested a trade to St Kilda.
