Iv been saying this all along... give him a 2 year contract on average money, probably will cost a round 3 pick. Got nothing to loose, the bloke can play, just 2 years had run of Injuries. I'm sure the Torquay Water can fix him

Correct they just retire him next year or smooth it out turn 1.1mil over 1yr into 1.3mil over 2yrs.

George Stevens ran around 6 min 30 sec for the 2km time trial. Doubts over his endurance may not be as strong now.

Certainly much better than constable who ran well over 7m. Caddy ran better than i thought too.

Would like to see how stevens goes for the agility test but he could still be top 30 now.

We havent decided it depends on who we bring in during the trade period.

I don't think they've decided. The key dates are here, there's three delisted FA windows, the last being 21 Nov. So you'd think we could delist anyone up to that date.

Yeah because all of these players have been oh so desirable, that are looking to move clubs.

It's a bit hard to top last year, where we had one of the best trade periods in recent memory - after winning a flag. Some people have short memories I guess.

Then again, all you seem to do is whinge and denigrate the club, so it's not exactly off-brand for you anyway is it?

Best trade periods... On paper maybe... didn't translate into on field performance; we actually went backwards. Let's see what the future holds. The fact is if we don't get a decent ruck or midfield we won't make top 4. Other teams are getting better - where is our improvement going to come from exactly?

I was laughed at for that suggestion, but he is worthy of serious consideration. We can get good things out of lost players, eg Gary Rohan.

No, on a group chat with a number of guys and his result came up via his Dad. Only one I have.

I'm either too basic or lazy to care much about these times, but some people really rate them.
Players like Sam Mitchell, Jimmy Bartel would not have featured here, but then again, Chris Judd and Danger may well have.

Taylor Adams to explore his options, please Geelong stay as far away as humanly possible from this 30 year old walking soft tissue injury!!!!

Except Adams really isn't exploring his options, so you don't need to worry about him ending up in the Hoops

He's contacted to Collingwood for next season, and Sydney has shown interest in Adams with the offer of greater midfield time while playing alongside his mate Grundy - that's banking on a trade for Grundy getting done

It's as simple as Adams will either be at Collingwood next year, or will head north to Sydney

Historically Geelongh rate them as precursors to afl capability. Look back thru the top 10 measurements and we draft a lot of players that performed well in 2 K and 20M sprint. Miers for example was very high in his 2k... and we see how he runs and uses that in his afl game..yet at a lower level he was the goal sneak.

Basically ...players like Caddy have a greater chance of us picking him if he shows he can do a good 2 k time.

we could bring him in and he will play Ok im sure.. but players like him will make it harder for players like Dempsey and Kroeger and other younger guys to get their shot.
