I don't see how we get him for a second. If Brisbane hold onto him and let him walk as a free agent next year, the compensation would be better than that (assuming he gets a first or end-of-first round pick).

I think the implication is that the "pick in the teens" would come from us.
Which would make it 13 + Lyons for Deledio. I wouldn't want to do that.

The main problem is that GC would be screwed - Lyons for Prestia

We need to judge what we pay vs what we get in similar trades.
When we pay more for Gibbs than we got for Danger then we need to get tougher at the trade table.

I agree, we bent over with Danger. We used the reasoning that we came out ahead of the alternative of FA rather than basing what we got on his worth which was wrong.

But thats not the point that I'm calling out.

For Danger and Kerridge we essentially got Milera, Menzel and Gore.
Gibbs looks like costing us Pick 13, and a 4-8 pick downgrade next year.

Yea imagine adding Rockliff and another first rounder to our list. Improves our list more than the other scenario

It's just as likely to be 12-15 and those picks first / second round pick downgrades not 3rd/4th
