I'd be surprised if we make any of the next 3 world cups.Qualify for the next one in 2026
So what’s the road to the World Cup from here?
South Korea will want to maintain their 1st place finish in the group with Iran just a point behind them so they will go all in. Not to say that a away game is easy for themOnce-off play-off in a neutral venue (Doha) against the 3rd place country from the other AFC group. The winner of that play-off then plays a once-off game against the fifth best South American team a week later, also in Doha. Right now, we'd be playing the UAE, but the UAE host South Korea next week, while Iraq play Syria. South Korea has already guaranteed its place in the World Cup, so they might tinker with their team, but Iraq is only a point behind the UAE (albeit with a worse goal difference: -6 to UAE's -1). If the UAE drop points to South Korea and Iraq beat Syria, then we could end up playing Iraq.
Venezuala are last! it will be either Uruguay, Peru or Chile.South Korea will want to maintain their 1st place finish in the group with Iran just a point behind them so they will go all in. Not to say that a away game is easy for them
We should go through the Asian stage, but I’m not so confident against the SA tea, apparently it could be venezuala
Even harder then…Venezuala are last! it will be either Uruguay, Peru or Chile.
Uruguay V Peru currently playing on Beinsports now! We most likely will play the loser of this match
It must be a really weird existence assuming everyone from Sydney is in this massive Sydney conspiracy. Was listening to SEN Fan just now. Tara rushton was on. Arnold was discussed. Nothing concrete said about him. Then realised she was on a Sydney show. And she’s a Sydney girl.

Anyone see Volpato’s Snapchat…
Had a screenshot of Japan 2-0 up and the laughing emoji.
Then this morning with Italy been knocked out, had an upside down smile emoji.
Will Arnold bite the bullet and actually play him? Instead of giving debit games to 34 year olds
He’s not quite good enough for Italy. Who knows. There’s politics going on. Maybe with Arnold leaving, the new coach will convince him otherwisePresumably Aussies going for him on Instagram for laughing at the Socceroos' loss and about Italy being knocked out of the WC.
Shades of Ben Simmons' bitterness after not being selected by the Boomers maybe?
Can't see how else the laughing emoji could be interpreted apart from how everyone else sees it.
Would he even make himself available to the Socceroos after this?
I want the coach from Japan. Wears a suit, stands in the rain, writes notes in his little notebook. Class act
Poppa would be better but still not good enough. The powers that be need to get their hands off their dicks when it comes to these journeyman Aussie coaches.
