Yep.

Had a good vantage point on Collins Street. Pretty easy to get a good spot on there actually.

At the end though, stupid parents holding up little kids (one was a Hawthorn supporter), blocking everyone's view at Treasury Place.

the press conference with the 2 coaches and captains was hilarious. bomber playing the straight bat to everything, chocco on fire with quirky lines - he was really enjoying himself. bomber may have been enjoying it but didnt show.

also lol ablett ignoring reporters during the parade.

He's so funny, handsome and intelligent!

It was great at Treasury place if you wanted to look at the deaf interpretor who stood in front of Bomber the whole time so we couldnt get any pictures without her in them. I'm sure she could of moved to the side, the dumb ass

Ablett brothers dream of a premiership win

28Sep07
GARY Ablett has been dreaming of winning an AFL premiership since he was a kid, the star Cat said at today's grand final parade in Melbourne.

The star midfielder sat beside his brother, fellow Cat Nathan Ablett, as more than 60,000 fans packed Melbourne's city streets to see Cats and Port Adelaide players ride in open-top cars from the Arts Centre to Treasury Place.
Ablett said it would be a special experience to play alongside his brother tomorrow at the MCG.
``It's always been a dream to play AFL footy when we've been kids and since we've got there, our goal's always been to win the premiership which we've got a chance to do this year,'' Gary said.
``We're just going to go out there and do our best and do what we've got to do for the team.''
The pair will attempt to go one better than their famous father, Gary Snr, who played in four grand finals with Geelong between 1989 and 1995, but failed to win a flag.
His namesake said he'd watched video footage of his Dad's heroics, which included winning the Norm Smith Medal for best on ground in the 1989 grand final.
``I've gone back and looked at the videos but I'm too young to remember.
``I went along to a couple but I'm too young to remember.
``It was disappointing for him not to win one so hopefully we can change that.''

That pissed me off too - normally I'm quicker getting through the barracades towards the front, but I arrived later this year and got stuck further back than I usually go. And the people who put umbrellas up should be shot.
The crowd numbers there, despite the weather, seemed to be up on the last couple of years; and the vast majority were in Cats colours. But if anything the Port fans seemed to be making more noise.

And John So is my bro. He is pure comedy at the parade every year. I wonder if he realises that the big cheer every time he speaks is because we are laughing at him. :p

Bomber-focused on the game
Chocco-proving what an arrogant pig of a man he is

I believe it is Geelong who had the lost 'LOL'

GO THE CATTERS!!!!!!

I went this year. Didnt think it had the same vibe as the Brisbane v Port one back in '04. Still good though. All happens relatively quickly.
