I thought the same thing when Australia (with its premier league and other international stars went down to them) but they arent too bad, They have one or 2 forwards that run like U bolt with the ball and the poms defence really strugled with the pace, one ball bounced out of the woodwork...USA could have won easy

I wasn't sure who to cheer for last night. It was hard to support England with that **** Gerrard leading the way and you just have to look at the US supporters to understand why they're easy to hate. They still think their shitty country is the best at every sport so it'd be tastey to see them fail.

BTW, Michael Dawson should ABSOLUTELY come in. If Ledley King's injured then there are absolutely no other options. Carragher just showed how ****ing awful he really was, Upson is no good either, but watch, Capello will look past him as usual.

however I find the English fans borish with regards to how they like to start riots and fights against ANY fans that play against them, and too many of the English soccer fans are all Oasis fans- yeeeech!

Initially i didnt care if we smashed England in the Cricket, however after living there for a year, i started to support the team England was playing against in the cricket - and also the football! and it wasnt even an Ashes summer in England!

To be honest, the three teams I want to win at this World Cup are Australia, Denmark and the US, although I realise all of them are obviously very much outside chances.
