Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.

Ouch. We had three Lenox ACs (split systems). First caused leakage of condensation from a collector tray due to a small plastic tab that had broken (probably by installer. Fixed with epoxy glue.
The second fault in a different AC was caused by a plastic zip clip that broke in the outside compressor unit, causing the wire it was anchoring to catch on the radiator fan, and stopping it from turning. I found that and fixed it (after about 4 weeks, and after giving up on the service guy ever turning up). A second unit failed soon after due to a faulty motor start capacitor - I was lucky enough to spot a guy fixing the AC at the pub 50m down the road, and he came up and fixed it (although he charged more than I thought was reasonable). That house had five split system units (not all Lennox), so as soon as the others began to fail I fixed them myself with caps from Jaycar). Luckily, the first that had been fixed by the service guy was the biggest, as the cap it required was way bigger than anything sold in Jaycar.
Probably different faults in your ducted system though, but the info above might help somebody.
Cheers SoS. Many similar issues have required such attention since we installed it in 2000. The ultimate issue is found when you peruse the Lennox website and read the section "when to replace your system!" It says "once repair costs outweigh the installation price and/or after 15 years of use", with us being over that.
