Hey Horace.. you another year older this year ? Did you behave over the Christmas season? You can "plead the fifth" if you want to You weren't in the South west of Vic area last week at 7.30am were you? Heard a story of a REALLY grumpy really old at that time , in that area

As a matter of fact Chugginon I was in the South West from last Monday night until Thursday morning.

So it could easily have been me.

And I wasn't slacking either. Pulled down a fence in some fairly trying humid conditions, was nearly stung by a couple of bees. (About 30 years ago I unknowingly disrupted a bee hive along a creek at the foot of a hill. There was a sudden burst of noise and several bees chased me up the hill, rapidly. It was back in the days when Carl Lewis was winning Olympic Gold medals. I can't run out of sight on a dark night but he would not have caught me that day I can tell you. Unfortunately the descendants of those bees somehow know about me and look to extract ongoing vengeance whenever they get the chance.)

As to the age bit, yes I will but not until September. And apart from maybe eating too much Christmas Pudding and having an extra cup or two of tea, I did behave myself.

I can't believe how ill I felt yesterday.

Man, tell me about it.

Spent the next few days after New Years feeling seedier than an ounce of low-quality weed.

But I'm happy to report that bourbon and I have since settled our differences - ("How could I stay mad at you?") - and we are both looking forward to continuing our collaboration again in 2017.
