Pain not so bad here. Just like a persistant cramp and when i treak it a bit sore for another day of 2...

No such heroics in the bed hojuman. Just plain old boring singletrack cross country. Hit a patch of thick sand and put a little to much load on the cranks to avoid ploughing into the soft stuff.

No optical drives for me anymore. I do have one in a usb enclosure i pull out of the cupboard if requited.

Been getting cheap chinese fanless mini PCs lately. I5 cpu and 8g ram fror around 400 delivered.

nup, mostly i use linux so dont need any of that stuff, also i actually have a tunlr account that costs 10usd (15 aud a year) for watching BBC iView etc.

Looks interesting and reasonably priced when compared to Intel NUCs here. About $400 for an i5 here then you have to add RAM.

I've just retired my Celeron NUC from kodi duties as I've got 2 S905X boxes from AliExpress and set them up with Libreelec.

Currently turning the NUC into a torrent box - am learning the vagaries of Linux while doing so. Has been a bit of a learning curve but almost there I think.

They've fixed the motor AGAIN, making some subtle changes to the airflow settings which Lennox feel were the reason it kept burning out, and they're reinstalling it on Wednesday morning. If it stuffs up again they'll replace it with a modern more efficient and far more reliable unit at cost price, without charging any labour costs, and I can pay it off gradually in my own time. Given the length of f***ery they've put me through I intend to make the final payment at the bloke's funeral in 30 years time.
