Actually, and I hope Horace doesn't mind, they go back further than that. They have been in service since the 50s in the USAF.
The mass of bombs and other deadly shit they dumped on Viet Nam is hard to even contemplate.

belly...so big.
When you are one year off 50 years everything close to that is just old.
Just checked on Wikipedia, and saw this...
The B-52 completed sixty years of continuous service with its original operator in 2015. After being upgraded between 2013 and 2015, it is expected to serve into the 2040s.
You might also be disappointed to hear one of the newer fighter jets will only be static as the display pilot is on leave.I am so disappointed that a B52 is not doing a fly over at the Airshow this weekend.
You're still friends after one of you left the other at the football altar?Thats ok because I can get a pic beside it and send it to GN80

Still can't get over what Laos copped. Between 1964 and 1973 they had to endure over 500,000 air raids and some 2 million-odd tons of bombs dropped on their heads. Averages out to a bombing raid every 8 minutes, 24 hours daily, for 9 years.
As you so aptly put it, it's hard to even contemplate.
Especially since we were told it was the " Vietnam " war.
nah, just trying to helpLike poking a bear...

Large doorsteps down Brighton way...It appears that someblood sucking scumbagsreal estate agents literally don't know the meaning of literally. I just read a listing for a house that apparently has "schools, beach, shops and train literally on your doorstep". Yikes.
Saw the Raptor.
Sheesh that is a beast!
