Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Srsly?Well if its any consolation the wifes new bbq is off and running after 3 hours to assemble it and an hour to get the app to connect. Who would have thought a bbq would need an app to operate. Not to mention require assembly like an ikea product.
You installed the Grid Connect app or the Smart Life app and your telly lost connectivity? Did you **** with the wifi password or anything?Srsly !

Remember when Burger King put out an add that triggered all the fridges and google devices to go the Whopper Wikipedia page? Then people changed the page to list kittens and small children as ingredients? Good times.Srsly?
OK... I get the IoT (Greek to Korean = 사물 인터넷) but there do seem to be some cases where the idea is a bit far fetched. A CEO at one place I worked was always banging on about Internet Fridges (삼성과 LG) and how indispensable these would be within the next few years - logging all of the food that goes in and out so that an automated order could be sent to the supermarket (슈퍼마켓) while most of the staff just rolled their eyes thinking that we replenish milk and butter but most of the stuff we buy from week to week is different as we want VARIETY and what's in season. The CEO wasn't a rocket scientist (he was apparently a nuclear physicist, although a dope).
But a BBQ... that makes sense now. I confess to preferring meat well done. I put mine on the BBQ and cook the first side, then put everybody elses on. But theirs is always cooked to well done despite being in for only half as long as mine. I might need a smart barbie. And one of those BBQs too.

Early adopter of tech, your mum.
Edit: not a mum joke, a compliment
I use the Tuya Smart app. It is the "parent" app of Grid Connect, Brilliant Smart, Genio and several others. They are all based on the same development tool set but Tuya (in my opinion) is likely to be around for longer than the others as it's an international (Chinese) platform, wheras the others are local and likely to go toes-up at any time.Which one should l use SOS ?
I've installed it on an old laptop but for some reason (lazy and Big Footy) I haven't done enough to set it up as I want. I'll dump the Tuya stuff and use Hue lights where I want to enable dimming, but the on/off will use Shelly switches. I might need to butter up koshari to install about 25 of these (joking). I would prefer to just install a couple to test and satisfy myself that they do what I want, and then get somebody in to install the houseful.Home Assistant interests me greatly.
Will eventually set it up in a docker container and have a proper play with it. Would be awesome in a home with compatible HVAC stuff.
I dont do these whiz bang modern interfaces, its modbus, ethernet or gtfo.I've installed it on an old laptop but for some reason (lazy and Big Footy) I haven't done enough to set it up as I want. You got your $200 ffs. Bloody whinger.Go to regular ATM machine this morning, queue of about 8 ahead of me, get to machine, insert card, request $200 withdrawal, card gets spat out straight away, message on the screen " suspicious transaction denied, contact bank ".
Before i can put card back in to try again, i get an SMS from the bank saying did you do this $200 transaction ? , seeing i got no cash i replied no, get immediate reply this account now locked, contact bank.
After getting transferred 3 times, and 45 minutes on hold, finally get things sorted, official explanation, card probably too old, maybe damaged, replacement has been ordered, and account unblocked.
Go back to same ATM, no queue, same card, same transaction, no problems wtf![]()
Being grumpy with younger folk calling them ATM machines and PIN numbers![]()
