My mate an i are having some Essendon and North banter and he thinks that Gumbleton (based on this year) has now got Hansen Covered. given he was pick 2. I still reckon Hansen has done more over his career and whilts there is upside to both i would be interersted in hearing from others as to where they both are it....

Dont get me wrong Hansen is a fine young player but (as much as it hurts me to say this coming from a Carlton fan) from what I have seen Gumby is going to be an out and out star if he can stay on the track.

I'm not so sure Hansen will be more than a good B level player (just under the top group).

Hansen leads Gumbleton on virtually every statistic besides goals and inside 50's.

This comparison will be easier to judge after Hansen has played more time in the forward line and Gumbleton strings more games together.

Hansen's career so far has not been that sucessful, while Gumby has been on the sidelines. I like him this year but I like GUmby more. Gumby has star potential where as Hansen will only be a Drew Petrie imo, which is still a good player.

only a Drew Petrie?!

Christ I hope you're right & Gumby turns out to be a class level above Petrie, cos we'd have a ****ing superstar on our hands!! Petrie is a deadset gun. He ain't only anything IMO
