The niggling at Sheedy by Horsburgh in today's article by Caroline Wilson is, well, just strange. Referring to him as 'bitter' and releasing the results of an internal communication survey to the media are cheap and reactionary stunts, and suggest that he's a little thin-skinned.
If this club is meant to be uniting in the aftermath of Sheedy's sacking, Horsburgh doesn't seem to be doing much to lead the way. He seems more fascinated by his media profile than club unity. Potential future coaches of Essendon would have to be regarding him warily.
Unrelatedly, is the statement that "When Jackson came to the club it was broke" a revelation to anyone, or just me?

The papers are going to have a field day in the coming weeks.
