How did chris egan play?

Hey guys,

I didn't get to see last nights game but from reading the stats it looks like chris egan had an alright game- 13 kicks 7 handballs 5 marks and 2 goals 3. Considering stats don't always tell the story i would just to know people's opinions on how he played last night and what sort of future he will have.

Missed a few goals that he should have got. Got plenty of it late.

He is certainly exciting. I liked the look of him the day Willi played Bendigo.

However his ball use was well below the standard and he also shirked a couple of contests. Both of which will improve with experience.

A couple of his efforts were pretty embarrassing, but he'll be a good player.

A bit thin in the body... yet to put on a footy players build... but that said, he played really well imo. Very impressed.

Got a lot of the ball, seemed to know what to do with it most of the time. There are areas of his game he needs to work on for sure,... but he got a lot of it. Was inside the best 8 for Collingwood imo.

Egan will be a great player for Collingwood.

Got a lot of handball receives. When it was his turn to go he didn't. For a first year player though I was very impressed.

He is ahead of some , how many minutes did he get against Brisbane because he didn't appear too often on my screen. Most of got lost at the new ground.

He's definitely a right foot kick though, isn't he? I'm sure Eddie said he was a left-footer. Very lively, and much better prospect than Neon Leon.

Chris has gotten amongst it much better than I thought he would. Him and Bucks were the only thing keeping me at the game last night in the end.

Colin said he was a O'Loughlin type player when he was drafted..think he has a fair chance of being just as good but has shown he can play a bit up the ground too. Good stuff.

he was good in the last quarter if only he could have got 4.1 instead of 2.3 but that can come experience. Seems arrogant, like the gesture he gave the west coast cheer squad
