How far can North Melbourne go?

They wont win a final, still yet to beat anyone in form and their finals record lately speaks for itself.

You do realise though that eventually finals records have to change? Like, it can't be the same teams every year winning finals. 1 loss 2 years ago does not count for shit when rating a teams finals chances.

Don't be defensive. "You" won't beat Freo, Hawthorn or Swans in the last two weeks if they're fit. Nor will you beat Port in Adelaide. I'd also have Collingwood and Geelong just ahead of you, though Geelong are definitely losing their mojo. If Essendon can get some form going they'd be 50/50. I'd back Norf in against everyone else, well if you were to play them at Eitihad that is.
Good post.

They can go all the way with the umpires in their back pocket like last night.
Well of course the umpires always look after us. We always have the majority of fans making all the noise, and the AFL knows it is in their best interests to look after the financial powerhouses of the competition.

I know you're being Sarcastic, but we did lose to GWS as well in terms of form line.

If we played North next week I'd back us in comfortably.
You smashed Adelaide before our game then smashed Freo after our game. Hardly poor form. I wouldn't mind a rematch though, haven't played you at Etihad in a while.

This is what I'd be hoping for. And being competitive in our last (losing final) match for the season.

Experience in two finals, and winning one would be great. Hoping for 5th or 6th to ensure a home final in week one, assuming of course that we do in fact make finals.
Agree with this,we are not a top 4 side at the moment but for me we must at least win a final this year.

They just aren't that good. Is their midfield better than that of any of Geelong, Hawthorn, Freo, Sydney, Collingwood or Port? What about their forward line or defence? I'm not sure they match up with any of those teams in any areas.

Well we beat Sydney, Port & Freo

Where are North's finals ambitions at?

Hi shinboners.I was wondering why you wore the indigenous jumper again this week?
It does look alright so are you going to wear it more often?

Talking heads on North Melbourne: "Inconsistant, up and down, jeckell and hyde, lose games they should win." (Have only lost to one team lower than them on the ladder.)

Talking heads on Fremantle: "Building, will peak come September, premiership contenders"

Both teams are 7-4.

Not too far unless they find some consistency. They were ****ing appalling in the first half.

Start like that against Hawthorn, sydney, port and probably geelong and there will be no coming back. You give those teams that much opportunity and they wont be up by 35 it will be 70.

Need to beat the Hawks in 4 weeks - then re-start this thread. Until then I am still expecting the traditional first week of finals inglorious exit and Brad Scott saying hes going to 'make changes'.

To make top 4 you have to go 17-5.

North is going to lose more than 1 game this season.

Their only chance of making the 2nd week is if they draw Collingwood in the first round.

It's hard to see their forwards doing much damage against a fit hawks, Freo or Geelong in the first week.
