Not sure why everyone’s saying Richmond fans are being insecure. Maybe we just view things differently because our team plays entertaining football each week, and that warps our view of the state of the overall.
BullshitFooty has always been great. The only people who complain are those whose teams are shit or the media because they have to talk about something to make money.

Hawks v Swans in Rd 22, 1999
First time a team used the interchange as a weapon, and the Swans had no answer. Interchanges have skyrocketed ever since
1990's was bruise free....ha!
Defenders have been getting away with lots of holding, chopping and scragging
What did they do with the interchange that was different? Use it for rest and rotation?Hawks v Swans in Rd 22, 1999

Was an actual tactic to rotate players through the bench rather than on the field. Players were running off every couple of minutes (I'm groups of 4) whilst teams back then barely made that many changes a quarterWhat did they do with the interchange that was different? Use it for rest and rotation?

Amen brotherBeen going to the footy since 1975, and I don't 'prefer' any era. Old school footy in the 70s and 80s was great, and so is the 2018 version. Things weren't 'better in the good old days', and they're not better now, they're just different.
Is your tipping completely ****ed like everyone else's? The game is definitely unpredictable.Richmond fans are so in denial about the state of the game it's hilarious. You're a really good side and you've got every right to be happy with it, but come on....the game is "high quality", "fast scoring" and "unpredictable"?
Nope.
Who cares what the game looks like. It is up to each team to use whatever means available, within the rules of the game, to win. That is all that matters.
I wouldn't care if my team won a grand final with a scoreline of 0-0-0 to 0-1-1.

I normally have 1 crappy round at the start of most seasons. I've had 3 this year. Going back a few years, tipping 150 winners wasn't unrealistic. Now 130 is a winning score.6 of last years 8 are in there atm, Geelong in 9th and sure to overtake North. Hawthorn the other who have come in, having recently won 3 flags. Brisbane, Carlton, St Kilda down the bottom. Every season the early rounds have thrown up a few suprises until form settles, in comparison to recent years this season has been completely predictable.
What exactly about this season so far has been "unpredictable"?
