people are losing their jobs, losing their businesses, people have commited suicide because of all this sh*t, loved ones gone for ever.

pandemics are shit, i agree

it sucks

what would you do different? I liked Matthew Guy's response to a similar question: "I'd get people vaccinated and protesters off the streets"

you guys are so obsessed with BLM it's absurd

cops are *******s, ofcourse they cause violence - i ain't going to argue anything different

but it's irrelevant - BLM happened once - one and done - during the most lenient restrictions of the first half of last year

these anti-lockdown happen all the time, during the strongest restrictions

that is your diffence

if blm kept happening, they would have gotten beaten down too
The problem with the rightist apologists is they don't have the insight to distinguish between a protest and a riot.

They also seem to have trouble with the difference between 1 day 12 months ago, and 4 days this week (Sat, Mon, Tue, Wed)

Are these types marching in other Australian states all week?
No! And the reason for that is because of the Murdoch incitement here - I've posted the difference in the way disinformation factory has reported propagandised the matter here compared to Sydney - and the egging-on and dog whistling from conservative forces. Victoria will be central to the Hollow Man's chances and reactionaries take no prisoners in pursuit of taking down rivals they see as threats.

Yeah because 5000 cops rocked up to the BLM protest in full riot gear, guns drawn chasing people around the city. When you treat people like criminals, they'll behave like criminals.

I've been saying this from the start, whether you agree or not with the protests, how they have been handled is appalling, everyone knows they're gonna rock up, what's the use of having 5000 police officers their to greet them? Have the previous ones torched buildings? Bashed innocent people in the streets? Turned over cars? Like what have they done to warrant the type of force being used against them.

They're rocking up regardless of how many officers are in the city, officers just need to move aside, let them walk and protest, scream 5g conspiracies if that's what its about and let them go home and send fines in the mail later on.

It makes zero sense how the police have been used to 'stop' these protests, heck they'd probably last half as long most likely if they just let them do their thing and go home.

And please don't argue health and covid, when police are out in their thousands, it's no longer about stopping the spread of anything at that point.

If you piss on the Shrine, you lose the right to whine.
Kick an innocent dog, you deserve to be flogged.
Spit on a medic, um, what rhymes with medic?

There is no comparison with the BLM protest and the unruly rolling riot in which innocent by-standers were attacked, spat on, abused. It's a distraction.

Starting to think they are crisis actors.

Probably on Matthew Guy's social media team.

Matthew Guy is a moron, thanks for pointing out the obvious.

I had this discussion today with my dad on the phone, and I said exactly this.

If the government had of went with a gentle open arms approach, and we got Andrews fronting up to interviews everyday saying we need vaccinations, we understand a large portion of you will be hesitant, but we will try our best to educate, and to make the decision easier, if he bought All VICTORIANS along with him, instead of pushing us into a corner, giving us no option, using scare tactics and fear mongering to spread a message, it will not work, a good leader brings its people with him, all of the people even the ones that don't align with him.

Imagine how different things would look if he actually showed true leadership, calmly told us everyday things are going to get better, instead of getting up their and saying literally thousands of you will die, like once you uncover one lie everything just becomes that less trust worthy.

He's not a leader, and is incapable of leading, he demands and points fingers, I know personally my view on this vaccine would be vastly different if he and Foley and Sutton didn't get up their everyday and talk so much shit.

That's right their isn't a comparison, one was allowed to peacefully protest, the others were treated as criminals before even stepping foot into the city.

It would be interesting to know what those who bring BLM into this discussion think of the recent events in Melbourne on a stand-alone basis.

Unlike the Dan ass kissers, I’ve got the same opinion about BLM and these protests and Extinction Rebellion and Invasion Day and every other dickhead who protests, especially during a pandemic.

I just wish the police had the same response to every other protest as they do when the protest is against the government.

But it is remarkable the police will do the dirty work of a premier who supported protests against the police…

Just a reminder that DAN! is getting re-elected next November friend.

Enjoy!

So you let your view on the vaccine be dictated by political considerations which have absolutely nothing to do with the efficacy/manufacture/safety of the vaccine...
Intriguing

My view, not my decision to have or not have the vaccine. When it's been politicised this much, it no doubt causes hesitation when goal posts get moved all the time.

Your view on what?

What do you think of the 'politicisation' of the vaccine in a wide array of countries and states under different political leadership? Still all political? Or is it that it's a common sensical reaction opposed by a small but aggressively vocal minority of the population?

So Dan is right as are you, but only if you ignore the fact that Victoria had 300,000 additional vaccines brought forward in June.

Dan also talked about a dodgy secret deal which is true, but only if you ignore the fact that the Federal Health Department announced it.

So yes, it was a giant secret conspiracy to benefit NSW at the expensive of Victoria, but only if you ignore the facts and listen to Dan's rhetoric.

Do you ignore facts and only listen to Dan's rhetoric? I assume yes.
Yeah, they didn't announce the reallocation via GP clinics etc.

We've been through this before, the author used the wrong numbers.

So your view on science or medicine is dictated by how you vibe with a politician?

GTFO.
