Would not bother to go out and protest post 80% would just cease compliance (apart from using necessary ppe at work). If caught would refuse to pay fines and direct it to confusing directives between state and federal government citing it unreasonable for me to know wtf to do when the chunts in charge have no idea; yes ignorance of law is not an excuse but when fork knuckles keep changing rules I think I’d get off.

If you watch the full daily press conferences (rather than watching 10 sec snippets on the news) which have qualified doctors attending (not just Dan the pollie) as well as listen to epidemiologists the health measures a clearly explained. Limit movement, limit contact, reduce the ability for the virus to spread, get tested straight away if exposed or have even the minor of symptoms, isolate as soon as you're found to be positive or are waiting for a test result, and most of all don't be a selfish clueless d***head having a public tantrum. It's not too difficult to understand .... well for some of us anyway.

I will focus on the Children traumatised because they can't go to school, see their friends or even go to a playground.

Than you have all those Victorians many parents who have children out of work or had their small business they have worked so hard for destroyed.

I have watched a number of his press conferences in full including the last few and the only regulars are Andrews, Sutton and Weimar with the occasional deputy filling in. I don't doubt some doctors and epidemiologists support Andrews measures however some have said they don't.

Why can't Andrews release paper work of the detailed health advice his government uses to impose these lockdowns with all the modelling that underpins that advice ?

"The Australian Institute of Criminology runs a program specifically identifying indigenous deaths in custody (The National Deaths in Custody Program NDICP). It looks at both prison and police related deaths. In a 20-year study it found that both non-indigenous and indigenous deaths had decreased and were at some of the lowest rates ever seen. The report noted in terms of indigenous deaths the total is lower than would be expected based on the proportion of the prison population that is Indigenous. The report noted that the rate of death has been consistently lower among Indigenous prisoners than their non-Indigenous counterparts. Importantly the report noted that It can be concluded that fact Indigenous persons were no more likely to die in prison custody than non-Indigenous persons remains true today."
