Seriously Stan if posters of your leaning acknowledged Dan’s handling of the pandemic has been below par, then I’d be more inclined to acknowledge faults by the Feds. But you don’t. Why don’t we all just admit fault at all levels and recognise that Australia has still faired better than most western countries.

On a positive note, an 80 year old relative was admitted to Box Hill hospital on Thursday (non-covid) and is getting all the tests, scans, and care that you would normally get there under normal conditions, we didn't expect that.

So you're suggesting our high vaccination rates is only because Scotty F**** up the rollout and didn't have enough supply? Can you try to explain that logic?

I don't know how old you are--but I'm from a generation of Australians who were absolutely desperate to get vaccinated. We had to wait months before it was available to us. If my generation was able to be vaccinated in April & May (rather than September & October) there would have been decreased transmission within the community (as it was younger people spreading the virus, the same as it is now) and the possibility we wouldn't have had to be locked down for 3 months this winter.

We vaccinated our way out of the delta outbreak and we would have done that in WEEKS rather than MONTHS if the supply was available.

Because taking vaccinations lowers that risk. That's the whole purpose of every vaccination I've ever taken in my life.

But if I'm missing out on a vaccination that further minimises my risk because someone couldn't get the F***** roll-out correctly, then I'm going to critique the person who made the mistake.



Vaccines don't prevent getting COVID, but it does an effective job at minimising the risk of both severity and transmission.

They ordered 160 million doses in 2020…

Who knew in 2020 Pfizer would have the best marketing strategy to scare everyone off every other vaccine? Last year so many wanted J&J because it’s only one dose, yet now people are screaming out for 3rd and 4th doses of the vaccine…

Imagine if he’d ordered 50 million J&J given it had the same issues as AZ!
