PCR positivity rate indicates minimum of just under 5x the recorded total.

So a realistic estimate for Vic would be 80-100k and for NSW 150-200k.

Thus we'd be looking at a peak in NSW within about 7-10 days and at some stage a combined PCR+RATs recording of 80k+. The Victorian peak is probably 14-21 days away.

Anyone with even a degree of political acuity and/or, to use your words, "a half- functioning brain" could see the politicisation by Scummo. However, even a cursory look around via the medya, forums , personal contacts should make you aware that reasonable political acuity isn't as prevalent as you appear to believe whereas "half-functioning" political brains are.

There is an abundance of peeps who don't believe Scummo's intervention was purely political. And that it was not a means of diverting attention from his myriad of stuff-ups (the latest being RAT) that moved him to make Novaxx politically front and centre. At least 3 tennis connected peeps have now been subsequently pursued as his boyos in an attempt to mop them up so it doesn't look so politically obvious.

And, believe it or not, there is an abundance of peeps who don't see Scummo as a pathological liar, are oblivious to his successive job failures, think he's trustworthy, and is doing a shipshape job. Really? Even though in the court documents in the applicants outline of submission and throughout the document they state his medical exemption was endorsed by the Victorian government which they are trying to use as evidence for entitling him to be here? Wouldn’t call that staying out of it.

TA and the Vic health panel used ATAGI guidelines and didn’t know who they were checking …. Probably the same guidelines the The Department of Home Affairs used!!!!

Their ‘cunning loophole’ is: ‘It was unsafe for Djokovic to get vaccinated because he was recovering from being infected with Covid-19’. Relying on an ATAGI leaflet that advises “vaccination can be deferred in those with PCR- confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection until complete recovery from the acute illness (which may be up to 6 months)”.

TA suggested Djokovic might obtain a statement from a doctor, if he believed he had been infected in the past six months …. nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

The official position is: “Someone with an asymptomatic COVID-19 case can get vaccinated as soon as their isolation ends.”

I don't think either Feds or State have much to worry about. Heads have to roll at TA and they have to pay the bills, and Novax must go.

Court papers show TA lied to the Vic govts panel and the Feds relied on Novax being honest and TA/Vic govt panel doing their job.

It is a legal case and most hearings are heard by video link now due to COVID. Unless there is a suppression order or ex parte application made all legal cases are matters of public record. Certain high profile decisions can be broadcast if the court decides this as being in the public interest.

They weren't querying the legal practice which has been in play for some time and much more so since Covid. They are IT pros who were expressing misgivings from an IT perspective which was my point.
