I corrected that BEFORE you posted above!!
I was getting at the potential losses the landlords would incur in the value of the buildings based on reduced rentals, not the building managers who run the buildings for profit.
LOL. Prove itI quoted that before you corrected it.
Who wastes more money? Landlords or the state government? So you don't care if they waste money, but do care if they lose money.
Do you not realise the two things are connected?

Do you not realise the two things are connected? If that wasted money was put to good use, the buildings would be worth more.
So its policy?
That’s why I am 100% confidentYou know I can see the edit history of posts yeah?
That’s why I am 100% confident
Some are returning 100%, but not all. My mate who works at the nab was told last year he's perma WFH (was in docklands before)
My work is perma WFH our Brisbane and Adel staff as we already have closed all of those offices.
My company has told everyone back in the office 7th of April, if you want to keep your job you are expected to be in the office. I work for a major world wide shipping line.
My wife's was similar - it's all over the shop
I don’t know what’s more offensive. Being called a shrill or being likened to Dan? Nah. The latter is just downright offensive. You know who else is confident? Dan Andrews.
You share a common trait it seems. You are the Dan Andrews of BF LNP shrills.
Doesn't bother me, i have been in the office as soon as i was allowed. Everyone looks at it differently, i don't want my home also to be my office. Quite a few were i work are not happy about it.

The only thing I have in common with Dan is that we both lived at Mannix College, Monash Uni, and we both met our wives there. But he was there many years after me, so I didn’t witness him break the world record for the longest time taken to complete an Arts degree
False equivalence.Who wastes more money? Landlords or the state government?
My guess is there will be some office return but it will be a day or two a week. A mate who has a retail business that depends on nearby office workers has noticed the numbers increasing. He's not in the CBD.I went into the city for work this week
I have not missed the 3 hour round trip
I have no interest in going back full time its such a massive drain on your free time
If Dan said everyone was going back HUN would run a story about how he was lying and business leaders said 60% tops and the usuals would be in here posting about how Dan lies/is dellusional
Some people want to, some will have to but there is no way its going to be like 2019 in the CBD anytime soonMy guess is there will be some office return but it will be a day or two a week. Unusual for grammar to be a strength of a contract cleaner!
Which is fairly much what I posted. As you say it won't be just the call of the workforce. I know of a prominent architectural firm where the staff hasn't been given a choice. Others where remote work in some circumstances is less efficacious - law firms for example where face-to-face has clear advantages. And I can't see the courts sitting remotely for longer than they have. Some people want to, some will have to but there is no way its going to be like 2019 in the CBD anytime soon
I've also been in two Friday nights in a row, once for drinks and once for a showWhich is fairly much what I posted. As you say it won't be just the call of the workforce. It's true the CBD will never be the same.

A lot of empty premises and a lot less people going in socially than before as well
It will be interesting to see how that side goes
