Human nature was a bad way of describing it.

If you pretend that humans populations are capable of putting aside greed/selfish desires and taking accountability for their actions on mass, then yes socialism is a great idea.

On a biological level, with regards our fundamental requirements for our existence, then Yes....Human nature remains the same & is universal.

The principal differences you are espousing are more concerned with socio-economic & cultural differences, which do not change man's nature one jot.

Behaviors & practices, Yes....Nature, No.

Those that benefit from socialism the most are the less well off.

It is the less well off that are the first to undermine socialism by buying discount airline tickets. The result of which is jobs go overseas.
