If ever there were grounds for divorce then this is it.
Your a strong woman VP, there is no reason whatsoever that you need to put up with such rubbish.

Spare a thought for me, my dearly beloved other half is a Bombers supporter as are most of my in-laws  Suffice to say, the last few years have been delicious ... can't seem to put my finger on why though :D

Is this the place to vent about spouses? Breakfast conversation this morning, while reading a newspaper article about Carlton:

Me: Sadly, I think Carlton might finally have a decent coach.
Spouse: Why do you say that?
Me: I haven't finished enjoying their utter crapness yet. I want it to continue indefinitely.
Spouse: Haven't they suffered enough?

What kind of monster have I married?
Spud. Delist.

Why is everybody obsessed with posting videos and why do the people who watch them have the volume up so loud!!

Not a biggie but we do seem to have a lot of posters who seem to find it difficult to express an opposing view point without resorting to personal attacks or insults.

No we don't, you idiot...

;)

Lest I be accused of hypocrisy, I reckon I've been guilty of playing the poster rather than the post from time to time. I try not to make a habit of it, but it happens.

But I think you're right, I think the threads seem a bit 'touchy' at the minute. Hopefully we'll all be sorted once the football season starts up, once we've got some external enemies to turn upon!

I need to vent that I don't have anything to vent about

Okay here is a Vent

I am bloody sick of People bagging posters who bloody have a go at a Player that Stuffs up during a the Game and I or someone else post in the gameday thread about the F**k Up

I agree. There is a difference between posting 5 seconds after something happens to a week later...

Spot on. Ask the next day and you can get a Total Different Response

I am sick of peope who take everything personal. Bloody British. Calling someone a f******* for something he did, apparently you don't like them. No it doesn't. It applies to what they did, not what they are.
Mistakes are human and reminding people of that makes them better humans.
Peace, love you all.

some people cannot get a bloody word in
oh sh.t l just did, dammmmmmmmm

I need to vent about myself. I'm a magnet. Unfortunately not of the 'chick' variety.
You see I attract morons at the footy. They sit within ear shot so I have to listen to their running commentary.
On Saturday I attracted a Collingwood couple in their 50's. He didn't say much, a trend that obviously continues at home.
On the other hand SHE was determined not to draw breath.
Every disposal was commented on.
"Where's he going?" "Oh to that guy by himself, nice kick".
"Treloar won't be in the side Round 1".
"Swanny's finished I think".
"Blair is the only smart footballer we have"
and so it went on and on and on and on and on every minute.

IF I WANTED COMMENTARY YOU"D SEE ME WITH AN EARPIECE IN CONNECTED TO A RADIO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST SHUT THE F@%$^ UP.

I suggest a limit of 2 observations per quarter per person (barracking is different).
(and yes I moved at half time, I missed her going from wooden spoon to premiers in the second half)
Ok I feel a little better.

Too funny. It seems I am the sort of person strangers share their life story.
Can be on public transport, waiting outside a shop etc and if someone smiles, I smile back, then it is, nice day or isn't it cold? I naturally respond then I find myself in conversation with them.
Many a time my daughter or if with a friend they come up to me and ask who I was talking with and I reply, I have no idea.

Because you are just trying to bring something up again that probably should be brought up after the game. Looks in my Mind. Kind of Pathetic.

Like your passion td but I don't agree with you. If you want freedom to speak your mind you shouldn't have a problem with others doing the same

Ohhhhhh this happens to me every single game. It's a curse!

I went to a neutral game of GWS vs Dogs here in Canberra for NAB 1. Hardly anyone there, sitting in a bay that had maybe 20 people in it. Great, I think to myself I can watch this game and no one to bug me. How I was wrong. Halfway through the second quarter a GWS fan with terrible man bun and a shitty Nintendo tattoo sleeve plonks himself right next to me. Starts yelling 'come on Sir (the umpire you flogwit) give us a free that was a shit call'. 'Sir you can't chop the arms Sir!' And just kept going and going about how this player is the next super star blah blah blah. Couldn't even keep away from them in an empty ground. :(

I think the best way to deal with this is to not let your emotions get away from you but if they do, then don't take it personal when others comment on it. Not worth it. Learn from it.
It happens to others as well, best to just move on.
I don't think it is abuse either. If it was then I think the Mods would have intervened.

Treloar won't be in the side Round 1... That's possibly the worst call ever made.
