Please explain.Favoritism? How come there is a thread on the Carlton board with over 700 pages and we had to reduce ours?
We started a new Random and Buckley thread because too many pages. Please explain.
I'm not across this at all.
But if BF is favouring the filth over the chosen ones, then we need to fight to the bitter end.
.Pay the $20 or whatever it is and get a special clearance, (next day response).Anyone on here still write cheques?
Lent a fair bit of money (cash) to a family friend two years ago and he has finally paid by cheque!
Cheque will take three days to clear if it doesn't bounce, what a pain.
How do you know who put the extra rubbish in your bin?Went out this morning to bring the rubbish bins in and noticed that not only hadn't they been emptied but two of them were full to the top. Now I am big on recycling and never have full bins so took a look inside and noticed that a neighbour two doors down had put two bags in my bin. Not only that but they were full of paper and clothes and now sure what else as I didn't want to dig too much.
I let it go but am really angry, should I go and speak to them and ask them that in future it would have been the neighbourly thing to ask permission and didn't appreciate it.
Or if it happens again, take the rubbish out and dump it on their front lawn?

GrrrThis happens to us. Grrr. One of our neighbours also sometimes takes the wrong bin in, and leaves us with their (dirtier and smellier) bin. The former tenants of a party house next door, also used to take one of our bins as their own, when they had a big night and needed an extra bin! Without asking! Double grrrr.
Grrr
Can you please tell me more about the "party house" as I'm just hearing about them on the radio, but apparently they've been going for a few yrs. What does it cost to hire a house out for a party?

I use the term loosely. Just a big house next door where lots of guys lived, had lots of noisy parties, and were pretty obnoxious. Exhibit A: they also parked a van in the street outside our house where their friends would sleep - for weeks if not months at a time. Exhibit B: they kept snakes, and sometimes walked out into our street with a snake around their neck.
Maybe I was overly critical. But they are (fortunately) long gone. Good riddance.
No but shame on you.You don't happen to live in Gisborne do you Maggie?
I dump crap in the neighbors bins all the time usually under the cover of darkness to protect my anonymity.
If it's your bin I'm doing it to you have my most humble apologies and I'll go back to dumping my excess rubbish in the local creek like I used to
Could not agree more. Even banks make it difficult to find customer enquiry numbers in your online account.FMD I wish businesses would stopping making it so hard to find contact phone numbers on their websites!!
It's a deliberate cost cutting ploy. Make it as difficult as possible - it reduces complaint's by stealthCould not agree more. Even banks make it difficult to find customer enquiry numbers in your online account.
