So why he played Dusty last week if it's been an issue over the last few weeks puzzling ? Fitness and conditioning heading on tract like last year poor management. That's on Tim Livingstone and the Chief for me.

Hardly Meehans fault that Hopper has a sore knee and Trezise leg got caught up under an opponent.

Don't you know? it's ALWAYS meehans fault.
Just like the umpires are fair, the AFL is a level playing field.

Its all just mysterious luck, where everything happens for no reason. Despite previous knee issues and having the option to clean out the knee months ago, instead of modified training.

And all our players return on time through rehab.

And there are more injuries and delayed rehab returns these days, but that's just luck too.

In fact if player management almost never has any impact on injuries at our club, snd thats almost never at fault, why do we need any person in this role?

It's just luck and we should employ a leprachaun with a pot of gold instead, or possibly a tarot card reader.

Noah Balta out 3-5 weeks with a MCL injury

Richmond can confirm that forward pair Tom Lynch and Noah Balta are set for time on the sidelines following fourth-quarter injuries in yesterday’s win against Sydney.
Lynch suffered a significant hamstring tendon injury behind his left knee, which will likely require surgery.
The key forward planted his leg awkwardly, following contact in a marking contest. He felt immediate discomfort and took himself from the field.
Balta has a moderate MCL injury that will keep him out of the game for 3-5 weeks, after he also landed with discomfort, in the final seconds of the match.

Richmond General Manager, Football Performance Tim Livingstone, said the injuries were unfortunate.
“It is rotten luck for Tom, who worked extremely diligently to prepare his body for the season after what was a tough season for him last year,” he said.
“Unfortunately for Tom, he landed in a motion that has caused this injury.
“He will consult a surgeon in the coming days, which will give us a clearer picture of the injuries timeline, but we are expecting he will be out for the longer term."

Balta had made a bright start to the season in a new forward role- but is also set to miss some football.
“In one of the last contests of the game, Noah unfortunately hurt his knee, and scans have confirmed some damage to his MCL,” Livingstone said.
“We will assess him further this week, but we do not expect him to play before the bye.”

Koschitzke and Ryan both likely to come in this week and for the foreseeable future. Thank * we got the win yesterday

Bugger me.
Our 2 key forwards - Lynch & Balta out.
Swing Gibcus forward? .....Oh, right, yeah.
Bauer? Where the hell is he anyway?
What about that other guy - Fawcett? Oh, yeah..indefinite back injury
Miller forward with Young & Grimes holding up defence?

Going to be an interesting Gather match with Ryan & Naismith as our key forwards.
