Not really sure where to post this but I am disappointed that Mumford appears to be out for the season. Seeing as it's unlikely we will face GWS again, would have liked them to knock off a few more top 8 contenders like North and Richmond in the next few weeks...

Contrary to what Kappa said he did do the other hammy too. He was about to come back into the VFL team in about July last year when he did the other one at training on a Thursday. They then shelved him for the year.

ON THE CUSP: Key position star Ben Reid performed strongly in the VFL for the fifth straight week before being rested in the final term and could well return on Friday night after a string of soft-tissue injuries. He had precautionary scans on a tight calf this morning, but says he’s “confident” of making a long-awaited return on Friday night. If he gets through training this week, should be a no-brainer. Former Kangaroo Levi Greenwood — who has been close to returning for several weeks — could well push for selection having not played this year due to an ankle injury and provide a strong injection to the middle.
