He has been pretty good in the reserves and has surely learnt from some of his mistakes. Why not try him. Even as a tall forward or another option in ruck. If Paddy needs a rest then kepler would be the replacement one would think, so why not try him now?

i reckon he or gumby will come in against freo to play on the bigger ground as a lead up forward.

i can't see us risking playing him in a must win game

I think his best position is a mobile Ruckman who can run all day. Was never a fan of him as a defender due to his lack of speed off the mark.

I think Keplar should play either : on ball, on a wing or as a roaming flanker.

You are ruining this kid mentally (through destroying his confidence) by playing him as a KPP.
We're ruining his confidence every time we play him as a defender. The one time he played as a key forward at senior level, he kicked 4 goals.
He's never looked more confident playing forward in the VFL the last few weeks.

We may as well get another look at him and add another dimension to our game. Would be hard to explain giving Bolts or Johns another game ahead of him, who both dont seem to have shown any improvement or pressed for selection.

It would be good to have a tall option up forward. He certainly has looked good in marking contests in the reserves. Should get a game this year.

I dont think we should play Bradley
I think it is time to TRADE him and get a top round draft pick for him and this time the dons can get a decent first round player instead of him
I think he was a waste of time and effort
He could probably play for a different club and they could kick start his career

We wouldn't get an early first round pick for and also it is a bit too early to say he was a waste of time!!

Never understood this.

Kepler has always been a good kick at goal - he's probably a better kick than Lloyd at the moment.

Its not his disposal thats an issue - its his decision making under pressure.

Sheedy has said specifically that its his disposal that Bradley needs to work on. FWIW I would love to see Bradley playing the role that paddy did last week in the forward line. Or just play him on the wing as others have said. He played on ball in the WAFL before we drafted him and I still think he could be a very good player.

I wasn't talking about kicking at goal i was talking about general feild kicking. He needs to learn to kick the ball alot flatter rather than getting as much air as he does with it.

i think we have given him enough time as he has played many games and still not proved himself. So i would say he is not worth keeping

I think this guy is spot on
Kepler has not proven himself and when he does play well in the vfl and then moves 2 to the afl he plays crap
Maybe he should just be a specialist vfl player
I still say we trade Kepler, if we dont get a first round pick for him we should throw LAYCOCK in there as well

Lloyd isnt meant to have a good feild kicking. He is paid to kick goals.
If he was playin in a position like kepler then he should me dropped straight away. But because he is a goal kicker he is still in the team.

What? Go back to the Weagles board please.

try Bradley? and drop who?

IMO we are already too top heavy as it is - in todays game, 2 KP forwards, 3KP defenders (one flexible) and 2 ruckman borderline too many as it is, so adding Bradley must be at the expense of someone.

To both your posts, we have never tried Bradley as a lead up forward which is what we are suggesting. Essendon tried to turn him into a defender but that failed so now he should be given a chance to play in the forward line, either deep or on the HFF. I don't really know why you are posting on a play form another team when you don't know much about them or even the role we want them to play in the team.

Bradley deserves another go. Giving him a crack would be much more beneficial than playing gumbleton- we all know he will be good and there is no pressure on him to keep his place on the list. Bradley deserves his chance to save his spot on the list.

So you would play Bradley in the fowardline now while we're still a chance at the 8? It seems like a big gamble to me. Maybe next year in the pre-season or when we are out of contention.

Not really that much of a gamble at all. Last few weeks we've had Ryder and even Mal Michael in the forward line as another tall option and we've looked a better team for it. Bradley has showed very solid VFL form (minus last weeks game) and from all reports has been training well. He's tall, athletic, and a good mark. I think Bradley could add to our chances of making the 8. Its not as if he's a youngster who needs to be eased into the side, so I don't consider it much of a risk.

I would hardly say we are a better team for options such as Mal Micheal in the fowardline. In the past 3 weeks guys like him have failed and as a result amongst other things we have lost our last 3 rounds.
