If I am an opposition coach, I would put more work into trying to stop and curtail Macrae's influence on a game than The Bont.

In fact, I think Macrae will probably cost The Bonr this year,umpires take note of what players like Macrae does in the action of stoppages and around the ground, centre square ball ups etc.

Top ten player in the game for my money.

Will be interesting, but to my memory, Macrae has always polled poorer than expected. He'll do fairly well, but Bont will grab most of the 3s I reckon.

I’ve been critical of Macrae in some of the past big games, and at times he seems a bit of a stats gatherer. But his game on the weekend was brilliant - clearances, hard footy, lots of metres gained, a crucial goal …..and he has gone up in my estimation.
