Its Time For Trigg To Resign.

Pretty shit reason to be hating on someone for being excited for his former team mates and work colleagues.

Do you not think it would be appropriate to catch up later?
text, call, dinner etc?

he knew the whole of Aust was watching

self before team

its just an opinion

Earlier this week Michelangelo Rucci wrote an article in The Advertiser -

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport...ia-and-from-fans/story-fnia3nqh-1226948597676

More than anything, this bit below has me absolutely shuddering with delight -

“Old news” and “reflective of on-field results,” they say. But on-field results have not improved - and member frustration with the club remains evident, particularly among former players who are plotting their “takeover” of the board.

I have no idea whether or not Rucci's comments have any truth to them, but if they do, I might have to buy that Lottery Ticket!!!

Gees, just catching up on what Steven was waffling on about to the media about 'crowd behavior'...

TRIGG... HOW ABOUT YOU ACTUALLY WORRY ABOUT THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CLUB AND THE ABSOLUTE DIABOLICAL MESS YOU HAVE GOT US IN AND I'LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WORRY ABOUT MYSELF AND HOW I ACT AT THE FOOTBALL.

Rant over.

This appeal to crowd behaviour hasn't sat well with me.

The crowd numbers at AO this year have been UNBELIEVABLE. Especially considering the state of our football club. Trigg and co should be thanking their lucky stars people still want to support this club and leave well enough alone.

We've been in the competition for 23 years and many of us have been going to Crows games for that long - we don't need a ****ing CEO to tell us how to behave at a football game.

Are opposition supporters really scared to come to AO? I highly doubt that.

Yeah its rather odd, maybe before the season starts was the time to do it, new venue fresh start etc.

Talk about turning a non issue into an issue, all on the back of what's going on in some people minds (percention was the word).

I just hope that the SMA don't get their staff to be more strict on the back of this, because IMO the staff at AO have been more relaxed than at FP and that has helped to create a better atmosphere.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Its just a shame so many people waste the opportunity with crap like that.

Triggy probably got abused by jumboprince or FreddyBassett and, because he's so brilliant, couldn't believe that it'd be as a result of dissatisfaction at his disastrous efforts, so extrapolated that out into the entire crowd being abusive and hostile.

There were fights at the end of the Collingwood game. Is it all in reaction to that? Were there incidents at Port-St Kilda?
there was 1 fight too on the hill at the last showdown too

there was some very serious damage done to some dudes handbag as a result of the melee, they other guys man bag was reletively unscathed

I reckon I could count on one hand the number of actual physical altercations I've seen in all my years going to the football. Plenty of verbals, but rarely, if ever, do they get physical.

Speaking of getting physical, has anyone here been caught on kiss-cam yet?

I agree with the sentiment here regarding crowd behaviour. In one instance, we show stats that we have less people per 10,000 kicked out than any other venue and then on the other instance, we are told to behave ourselves and to follow strict guidelines as to how we are allowed to support our team.

Could you imagine this crap 30, 40, 50 years ago? A bunch of administrators telling people to keep their passion in check? Supporters would have intentionally broken the rules to tell the admin to keep their filthy noses out of their business.

It doesn't sit well with me that we have a list of guidelines on how to support our club, this stuff should go without saying because we all know when someone has crossed the line or is flirting with the line, we know the difference, but now these guidelines are in place, people who enjoy flirting with the line, but not actually crossing it will be mistaken for crossing the line and will be booted out as a result. Sometimes a certain reaction is appropriate to a certain scenario that has played out, but actually will now be in violation of this new code of conduct. Why it's no longer okay to just use common sense baffles me no end.

I wonder what the point of this is, I'd like to say that this is another Trigg tactic to divert attention away from what the real issues are, but then we hear Keith Thomas is also on board with this. I know it's an Adelaide Oval issue and both clubs are invested, but this isn't just Trigg, although, he might have been the driving force behind this.

I would much rather my CEO be focused on the AO review which is coming up in a few weeks time. As far as being the right man for the job, Chapman, turning up and doing the review is well short of what should be expected. I would expect the CEO to ensure that the review led to a guarantee that the club was going to get around the mark of the sort of profits that were anticipated before the move, otherwise that is a monumental failure. Turning up, having a coffee, talking with everyone around a table about AO stuff is NOT doing your job.

There you go again, confusing chairman and CEO

Roo wouldn't be CEO anymore than Kochie or Eddie or Jeff etc its his job to find a decent CEO to do those things.

I'm not confusing it at all. You are implying I am, again. And you are wrong.

Chairman, not CEO.

Yeah that makes ALL the difference.

Want to rethink your original statement?

Edit: added more to the context of the story.

Well I've heard it from another source. There is something afoot what that exactly is I'm not 100% sure.

But all I know is Roo isn't alone, there are multiple ex players involved.

I am praying that there's some truth to this

Hopefully agitating will pay some dividends & afc can be returned rightly as an afl powerhouse club on & off field.

From what I've been told there are a heap of ex-players who aren't happy
That is huge if true

There's smoke people!!
