Its Time For Trigg To Resign.

Here's hoping. Chapman saying he had reviewed the game with Sando was really bizarre. Him and Triggy seeming increasingly desperate and rattled.
Triggy moaning about crowd behaviour at AO, when the rest of the country thinks AO is the greatest thing in footy this year just shows how insecure he is. I reckon we're getting close.

Seemed an odd comment from Chapman. It's not exactly the same as an endorsement from Dunstall about Clarkson.

And I though +rigg wanted to focus on the positives?

He only wants to focus on the positives about him.

In the long term it is essential for Poort Poower to attract opposition supporters. The Crows, not so much.
The latest initiative is yet another mercy **ck for Poort Poower with Triggy lubing up on cue.

The Poort Poower business model at Adelaide Oval involves a three prong approach

1) Increase season members. Despite having having 54,300 "members" they have less than 35,000 "11 game ticket holders". This is more than 10,000 up on last year but is it sustainable?
Poort Poower have 18,500 additional tickets to sell for each match including the 3 game members.

2) Increase attendance from the bandwagoners who attend the occasional match. This is working well so far but can they expect to always be top of the table and never play in the rain?

3) Attract more opposition supporters. If they can attract 4,000 - 5,000 opposition supporters to each match this will be crucial to their survival. Very few Victorian fans have come to Adelaide to watch their team at Footy Park and the lure of Adelaide Oval may turn this around.

But what about the AFC? We have sold more than 45,000 "11 game tickets" leaving only 8,500 to be sold each week. We have been able to sell these without many opposition supporters attending our matches (Sydney, GWS, Gold Coast, Melbourne). In fact we need to use these 8,500 tickets each week to recruit future Crows Members.

So Triggy is happy to trash the reputation of our members in order to assist Poort Poower sell their left over tickets.

Great Strategic thinking Steven, great strategic thinking.

He also only surrounds himself with positive people (those that are 100% positive about him…i think they're called 'yes men')

I wonder which of those positive people conducts our robust, searching internal reviews?

From what I've been told there are a heap of ex-players who aren't happy
If that's the case they need to start making some noise so public pressure is put on the club. I just hope the past players aren't Gallagher, Smith, Jacky and Eccles because it won't go anywhere.

Well I've heard it from another source. There is something afoot what that exactly is I'm not 100% sure.

But all I know is Roo isn't alone, there are multiple ex players involved.

Now you've gone and got me all excited :straining:

They know that despite their efforts to keep the 'agitators' quiet, they're in some serious trouble if the crows dont start performing on the field very quickly. The only thing that could really save them is success. It puts Sando under immense pressure to turn things around quickly; which although should be expected, creates all sorts of problems that can potentially flow into the football department.

I still have faith in Sanderson, and I'd honestly like to see the differences (if any) to a Sando led Adelaide Crows side under a different administration (with a few new faces in the football department aswell).

The players really have shown their support behind Sando, and regardless of whether hes the problem or not at the moment. He simply cannot be shown the door before them.

well I'm assuming they are friends with Roo?

I'll be cheering for medocrity when they announce Reilly's 200th game tomorrow night, so I am looking forward to being kicked out for anti social behaviour.

lol. Is Matt Smith our version of Bobby Neil?

Hmmmm dunno about all this......I see the two clubs in conjunction with SMA trying to make sure that the slick comfortable state-of-art AOval remains as a modern pleasurable place to enjoy high-end sporting events. I don't see any other stratagem.

I haven't gone back to the posts but Alex said some positives about roo being chairman, your response ridiculed his ability to run the business, Alex said chairman not CEO and you responded with it not making any difference. If you do know the difference between the 2 , then you must think the chairman exerts a lot of operational day to day influence. You're probably right if that's the case, if I was chappy, triggy wouldn't have a long leash at all.

Trigg and Chapman are like a bad marriage that won't end because neither will pull the trigger on it.

Chapman did try when it was made clear that the afl wanted him gone during the triggate debacle. When trigg turned on the club after being told he needed to go and threatened to bring the board with him, they managed to negotiate an acceptable outcome with the afl.
