Sando said that there were 120 former players in the change rooms pre-game last night. Seems a strange coincidence in the same week its reported that there is a player led mutiny brewing.

They're like children. It's out there that there are unhappy ex-players out there. Nuh uh, we had 120 ex-players in the change rooms last night. How often is that stat brought up? Is it as important as website hits? Masters of spin and not much else these guys

Well, considering the views on the Administration here, does anyone expect them to go away quietly, or to try every tactic in the book to hold onto power? We are now being run by SGT Shultz and Officer Barbrady.

Think of where we'd be right now without Dangerfield, Sloane, Walker, Talia, Crouch, Smith, Otten.....

Think also of what we could have been if we'd retained Davis and Gunston....

It's not baseless at all. Rendell was head of recruiting when all of those picks were made. It's not like I'm congratulating the boot studder.

I rarely go on the crows board. But I have to agree with every thing on this...

Matt Rendell from 2007-2011 was a gun recruiter at the crows, No doubt about it.

Dangerfield was pick 10 in 2007 and no one knew a word about him when he got picked. Still shocked to this day that Tex was pick 75 in the 2007 draft. Freo did well in the 2008 draft but I would of happily used pick 24 on Sloane over Suban. Sloane was pick 44 that year. Pretrenko was taken from the rookie draft in one of those rendell years too.

He also was the one that organized the Josh Jenkins trade. That was pick 31 for Jenkins and Pick 41.

Walker was a NSW zone player which is why he was taken with such a late pick. The only reason he slipped under the radar apparently was because the Crows deliberately played down everything about Walker to prevent the AFL from doing another Bryce Gibbs on us.

We were following his progress on here and we suspected that we were getting a gun, but the club was very very quiet both on his progress and whether or not that they were going to select him. After he was selected there were rumours that the club had decided more than 12 months before that they were going to take him, but were genuinely concerned about the AFL pulling the rug from under them so they deliberately didn't reveal their interest in him until just before the deadline to sign him as a NSW zone pick.

Nonsense. That was Noble.

EDIT - Not to mention Tex Walker was recruited by Fantasia as part of the NSW scholarship system. That genius Rendell never thought he was any good - same with Tippett.
