The worry is that they're all so desperate to get him back, which means that despite his failings they know he has more business/football acumen than the rest of them. Shudder.

To quote Slippery, that's quite an organisation we're running down there

At least we have a new word out all this.

Trigged.

To be trigged.

To exit negotiations in a worse position than you entered them.

To lose a highly valuable commodity for little or no compensation

Being unaware of important rule which govern your industry

Chapman and the board knew about the secret deal, to think otherwise is being naive. Its hard not to lose abit of love for your club when you despise the people running the show. it makes me feel ill that this hack received a standing ovation from his "beloved" 19th man.

love the players/coaches, despise the ceo, board and administration.

When Trigg does return, we will be get a fair lot of negative press from Victoria..But you just watch the small minded Adelaide media and supporterbase turn this into a SA vs Big V thing and we can all rally around the persecuted trigg.

Wtf is with the 19th man assists? We had one last night even before we scored a goal. Cringeworthy shit is the 19th man concept

It's when the opposition has a set shot, we boo and they miss. Cringeworthy
It's the only time we make noise. 15k port supporters make more noise than 37k crows crowd also cringeworthy

In that first quarter I heard a guys fart from the other side of the ground.

The problem is our supporter base is so old. I'm generally worried what our crowds are going to be like going forward. Kids have other priorities and interests. They won't buy ever increasing expensive memberships. I've basically got to drag my kids along, my eldest has lost interest and he's only 11.

Don't go down that path, I've been to many Poort games and that's a fallacy that is baselss.

I've been there when they are losing and you can hear a pin drop

A good post is a good post.

This is it in a nutshell. I don't feel the Crows engage as much as they should with their average (not you or your kids) supporter base and only appeal and engage with the high end set of supporters.

With 45,000 members and only 5,000 able to fit inside the Crows shed, we don't waste out time with going back to the shed anymore as the seats are all taken, the players (with good reason) take an hour to come out and then you have family dots that are organised in the middle of summer when it's 40 bloody degrees.

IMO they need to have 3 or 4 family days during the year and find a way of allow a spread of supports (kids) to turn up.

And I feel, this direction comes from the top. The average supporters are often forgotten about or left out.

I heard way more cheering than booing on the TV when Gunston kicked his last goal...

Oh yeah, the Hawks had a stack of supporters at the game yesterday.

They would have had at least 3 full bays down the Northern end full of Yellow and Brown and then others spread out around the ground.

~ 37,000 people were at the game, 5000 were Hawks fans.

Yeah but it's for the kids, not adults, just to get them making noise and feel more involved. Certainly worked on the 7yo sitting in front of me last night, he loved it.
