Nostradamus Lives Jake Stringer to leave the Bulldogs?

How would Geelong be able to land all three?
Ignoring cap space, which you may have, where would you find the necessary picks to do the deals?
As someone on our board posted:
The Cats will get Stringer for Pick 20, Smith for 2018 1st round pick and Ablett for some spud like Horlin-Smith

Meanwhile we'll get Trent McKenzie and Stewart Crameri

Literally bullshit. You have to have two first rounders picked in a 4 year period, they can't offload 2018's pick without bringing another first round pick in.

geelong haven't been a premiership winner since 2011 and have struggled to make a dent in Sept lately. they're a huge change to go out in straight sets this year. their backline mainstays are about to retire and don't have any young key defenders coming through. they aren't a walk up start to play finals anymore.
8 prelims in 11 years. By far the best of any team. Cool story mate.

Geelong have 3 players in the top 20 goal kickers for the season so your theory is not supported by fact

Wow so hostile, funny but so many Geelong supporters rang radio stations saying during the week saying Hawkins needed help. Still Stringer at only 23 will be too young for Geelong.

Due to the AFL making up rules on the go that's not in effect until 2019. Can understand your confusion though, it was only clarified in an April Herald Sun article and I don't think mentioned since:

I don't think the O'mears deal we filed sent and accepted was technically legal either and was *changed* once the AFL after a while realised they were not enforcing their own rules

Geelong recruiting boss Stephen Wells admitted during trade period he was unaware his club could trade its first pick in 2017 after offloading its first pick in 2015 and 2016.

Wow, who knows? If Stephen Well's who's job is literally player list management and transactions doesn't know, Guess none of us will either

Everyone knows the AFL rulebook is just a general guide and not to be taken seriously, its how they prefer it

She was. They have been friends a very long time. The rumours are about it going beyond that. Which is possible. But there are far more rumours about Stringer and his ways while married.
They were never married. Rumours about JJ and the ex, while juicy, are false.

Yet the club has chosen JJ and told Stringer to bugger off. Which is exactly what was predicted at the time the rumours (which Bevo denied) were swirling.

And it doesnt matter if they were married. They were in a defacto relationship with children which is in pretty much every way the same as marriage. To say otherwise is just a distraction.

Bringing JJ and a made-up triangle into the discussion is a distraction. JJ was not happy with Jake's behaviour but there were more serious issues involving professionalism around the club resulting in poor form that bothered Beveridge.

A problem we never once heard about is the real reason, not the one which we did actually hear about.
