bad luck you missed out on himin the draft.
the tiges eyed off Roughy (pick 2) more than Buddy (pick 5) and Hawthorn knew that so they chose him first. Richmond with pick 3 overlooked Buddy so i was pleased...

If I was a Melbourne supporter I would want both.

If just one then it would be Roughie for sure. Think he kicked 75 goals as the 2nd forward this season.

Tough call, but Roughead for me.

Roughead is more versatile - can play forward, back, rucks sometimes around the ground.

However he is one of the players that frustrates me the most - takes an awesome grab on the lead then invariably stuffs up the kick. Needs to work on his set shots.

Murphy is brilliant, but maybe not as consistent as Roughead, not as versatile, better finisher though.

roughead is the monster that comes out the square who is there to kick goals while murphy is a link into forwardline mainly

Murphy is very versatile has played great football on a wing, half back flank, back pocket etc. But I'd prefer Roughead, he's the KP foward we're crying out for and I'm sure we could find someone to play a similar role to murph - obviously not as good but he could be somewhat replaced.

strange comparrison, Murphy is a great player but I dont think Rougheads reached his peak yet, despite kicking 80 odd goals this year.
