No.. it means that we can draft two players on Thursday, in addition to upgrading Callinan. Tippett then gets delisted once the AFL allow us to do so. This frees up a position which we can use to re-draft Joyce in the PSD.Does this mean that we intend to draft two kids (plus Callinan) on Thursday and then rookie Joyce?
So we don't have to de-list anyone else?No.. it means that we can draft two players on Thursday, in addition to upgrading Callinan. Tippett then gets delisted once the AFL allow us to do so. This frees up a position which we can use to re-draft Joyce in the PSD.
Nope, when Tippett is delisted after the ND, it frees up a spot for Joyce in the PSD. We still have picks #20 and #54 plus #64 to upgrade Callinan. So we don't have to de-list anyone else?
Highly unlikely, particularly given that they know we're just re-drafting a player that we were forced to delist due to their SNAFU.so what happens if on Nov 30 the AFL decides to ban us from the PSD?

Last time AFL forced a club to play short (2 players short) of a full player list was 1995 when Sydney "lost" Locketts contract in the mail. Been numerous breaches since then without that penalty being imposed again. If they ban us from the 2012 PSD they'll be asking us to go in to 2013 with empty spaces on our senior list. I suspect the AFLPA would have a thing or two to say about that.
WTF? If you are counting Joyce back in again with pick 54 to make 5 on, why arent you counting him off?Hey guys - Having a discussion over on another Pies board, and we're not sure how the maths on your list situation works. We have it as:
In: Brad Crouch, Angus Graham, Pick #20, Pick #54, Pick #64 (Ian Callinan)
Out: Michael Doughty, Chris Knights, Brad Symes, Kurt Tippett
Joyce is being re-drafted onto the senior list, so he's no net change.
Isn't that five onto the senior list and only four out? Are we missing someone?

We now have two veterans (Reilly and Rutten/Johncock) so our senior list is one player larger, and we forfeit a Round 1 nominated rookie.Hey guys - Having a discussion over on another Pies board, and we're not sure how the maths on your list situation works. We have it as:

Pick #54 will be a new player.
