Judd's already past him and got at least three more years to extend the gap.
If you want lace out disposal to leading forward up to 60M then bucksJudd is more exciting with his abillity to accelarate away from an opponent but Buckley's disposal was 3 classes above. If it is quarterback/playmaker type of midfielder that you want, then Bucks hands down.
buckley was not a tough footballer more an outside player who finished off other's good work.....as where judd is the best of both worlds chalk and cheese when comes to tougher and strongerid say buckley averaged more touches, did more with the touches, better skills, better mark, better goal kicker, stronger, tougher, better leader, both are/were very good one on one players.
judds quicker, more evassive, better line breaker.
buckley by a fair way.

Judd has not gone past Buckley but I think he is a strong chance to do so by the end of his career.
Buckley is too underrated on BigFooty.
Jesus Christ. LRT clearly deserved that medal. Every time I rewatch that game I'm more and more mystified as to why he didn't.Judd's career has reached greater heights than Buckleys and his best football has been better than Buckleys for a greater period.
Two Brownlows at two clubs (should have had more), a Premiership and a Norm Smith that he clearly deserved.
