I remember tripping over your C4 a few times the other night.

One kill in particular sticks in my mind....
I was running up a staircase when all of a sudden you appeared at the top. I quickly blew your head off, which was the biggest fluke ever. I ended up walking to the top of the stairs and *C4 boom*, we were both rolling around of the ground critically wounded.

I'm running around as a Saboteur as well, with the repair and hack secondary badge. I have all class based badges except the air support. My profile page with all of the ribbons is starting to look impressive.

omfg the amount of times i died from c4 the other night when we were all playing was ridiculous

i def died more from grenades than anything

and my badge class thingo is just average.....when i unlocked boost for the engineer i was happy lol

if i start playing it again i'll be a saboteur a bit more

$5.99 is fairly reasonable i thought. Happy to cough up my dough for the new maps !

Just so you know, I'm just about 99% sure that the price quoted is US, so the AU price will be a little bit higher, from normal PS Store conversions I would say it will be $8.45, which is probably just on the reasonable side considering it was made after release.

I think I'm up to about 1.4:1, and I'm averaging about 80 kills per hour.

I played this game for the first time the other day and while it wasn't a bad game i think its pretty overrated. I'm pretty disapointed cause i really liked the first game and i was expecting more. The graphics though were awesome.

Here's my ribbons/medals so far.

The only hard ones out of those are the melee and air support medals.

Funnily enough, all 3 times i've satisfied the criteria for the search and retrieve ribbon, my PS3 has frozen or i've been disconnected.

Has anyone else got the M4 revolver? It's a dead-set animal.

Single player is a load of crap in my opinion, but give the online some time. It does get way better once you start unlocking and mixing up classes.

Its single player is pretty standard FPS in quality. Personally, I thought multiplayer was OK, but not that great. But from the looks of this thread I'm in the minority. Competing in various missions on the one map was pretty cool though.

I also played a game earlier on in a 2 man ribbon farming server. When I went into the lobby, there was some English guy there and he told me that we would take it turns to get what ever ribbon we wanted by killing each other.

So the whole game he's standing in my spawn area, meleeing and killing me with his pistol. I ended up on like 0 kills and 20 deaths. So we go into the next game (i'm trying to get the air support badge because it's impossible under normal circumstances) and then he quits.

He kills me 20 times in a row, and when it's my turn, he quits.

I'm going to send that prick some abuse over the PSN, that's for sure.

I also can't believe that none of you are really playing it anymore. I'm as addicted as ever and I think I will be playing this strongly until MW2.

the multiplayer is fun....but the feeling of constant lag annoys me....even if it's ever so slight. i mean don't get me wrong i've had tonnes of smooth games (as smooth as killzone gets anyway) but the hit detection feels off in 60% of the games i play.
also at certain times you literally can't move because of the people with rocket launchers and grenade launchers etc and it makes the game near unplayable at times.
and the controls i will never get over so that's why i rarely play.

also the majority of my friends play cod4 still to this day with a few playing waw so if i play a shooter i generally will just jump on the king of all fps's

I'm still playing it constantly..absolutely loving it, probably because i have improved alot.

Each game i seem to be at least 15 kills ahead of my deaths as a saboteur which helps in the fun.

Love pwning people with the C4.

Saboteur + Boost is the way to go.

I've gotten so many assassination kills with it.

Ive been playing heaps of late too and also got into top 10% last week too. Will hopefully catch you on there scooter.

I normally play as an engineer as I heart the shotgun, but I reckon im going to give sabotouer more of a go from now on.

Probably not.

The best opportunity would have been in the first or second week of release because people returning the game and such.

Admittedly, I didn't have to play many hours to get the top 10%, so it is probably possible if I had a week off.

if you play it about 2 hours a night i think you would be able to make it, especially if you're on the winning team

maybe too much for most people....i know i was playing it about 4 hours a night with over 100 kills an hour in the first week
i had to play that much coz so many of those scores didn't register!
so many MONSTER rounds lost to the dreaded freeze

Scooter you flamer, you seem to absolutely love this game dude - $10 is like, a drink and a half or a movie rental, just get it.

i'm not sure whether i should buy it or not either...

i never bought the cod4 map pack and i feel it was the correct decision since my friends that got them find it extremely tough to find unlaggy games

if you buy it i'm pretty sure it puts you on a different set of server lists....either that or when the maps randomly come up you will get booted.

they look good but i think i'll pass.....especially since i've stopped playing it

That trailer for the new maps was uninspiring, in my opinion.

Just played on an Aus Server for just the DLC; pretty sweet - the Train one is fun; extremely quick/crowded/brutal, and then quite open and clean.

The one inside the ship seems pretty rad too - for the sack of $10, worth it.

There are still serves with NO DLC tho, so rad.

On the maps, I am really undecided, I haven't really been giving the MP as much time as I would've liked and the thing is, I'm not sure if I will over the next month until and after inFAMOUS(Pre-ordered today), I have a huge amount of fun when playing with the BF guys as it does give a reason, but any time I'm on my own, I tend to be on the dud team(And IMO this isn't a game where 1 player can carry a team, just too difficult), so it starts to grind and will end up hurting my K/D ratio.

The biggest issue too is the $10 for just 2 maps, a bit much TBH, that's actually why I didn't get the COD4 maps($5 per map as well), still very undecided.
