No. We have laws and we have a society, you dont get to work outside of those boundaries and claim cultural differences. Where does that end? What we have works for 98% of the countryIt's interesting that the Parliamentary Voice issue is being discussed now, the premise is that the Aboriginal experience is "exceptional" so deserves an exceptional solution or response. From that point of view, treating Aboriginal and non- Aboriginal folk differently is justified. Not that anyone in this thread has suggested doing the same wrt Jurrah, but if they were to do so it would not necessarily be a radical position in today's environment.
