I think Jong is off at the end of the season anyway. If he gets a bigger offer he will probably take it as his family isn't well off and a contract difference of $50-$100k a year or security of longer than we might offer would be huge for them. I like him but let's be honest he is depth at the moment. Hope he stays but won't be shocked if we have a new player in his place moving forward.

Here's my 2 cents, I am a Bulldogs fan. Which means I support the Bulldogs. Which means ALL of the Bulldogs. I do have my favorites and less favorites among the players, but when game day rolls around I will give every player in the red, white and blue my full support. I don't have any say in team selection, the draft picks or trade decisions, so I don't worry too much about them. I do keep track and yes sometimes I don't agree with the choices made, but once the choices are made I will throw my full support behind any and all Bulldog players. Now you may call me one-eyed or tell me I'm looking at the world through my Bulldog colored glasses but to me that is all part of being a sports fan. So in summation: Carn Lin Jong and all the Doggies!!!

This baiting thing is the biggest myth,some people don't need to be baited. Saying a player played a good game and not mentioning anything but the player is talking about the player and that is all. I absolutely understand that mate. I'm sick of it too. But it becomes a bit of a self perpetuating cycle, he has stated that the mods have already warned him not to repeat that opinion unprovoked. Yet he continually has been provoked and then swamped. I'm trying to bring in a bit of a call to reason, don't give it oxygen. That way the one or two comments a thread don't become pages.
Hey I may be wrong, but it's worth a try and at the very least we don't have a situation where we have 20 posters ganging up on one.

It's the same basic premise and you know it. Being right doesn't give you the right to be an arseh*le.
If you're okay with continually sniping at a person in large numbers (even if that person brings it upon themselves) then maybe they aren't the only prick in this situation. And maybe you're in need of some empathy.
